2nd set of leafs

Hey guys,

how long does it take before the 2nd set of leafs start to show after bracken the soil?
 
if you mean the second set of true leaves then anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks, depending on strain genetics, container size, lighting conditions, etc etc
 
im counting from when it broke through the soil.

Do you think i should put my lights like that?

or should i just put them facing downwords?.
 
I germed 6 critcal kush (48hrs), put them in rockwool, now at day 14 and have 3-4 sets counting 1st single. It does depend on strain as stated but seems a tad slow. Give it time. What r u using for light and what strain did u start?
 
looks like a lot of dirt for the seedling to fill with roots. plants will develop there root systems before they start vegitative growth, so that is most likely what is happening, you should see that second set of leaves within the next week i would think
 
they are starting to come through i can see small ones do you think i should keep my light and this is the information on my seedling.

Also my seedling is 8 days old today from bracken the soil?.

Afghan crosses...notta pure afghan yet....this'll b the first....yeah I hear she's a heavy feeder... ima just keep n eye on her for signs of hunger around week 2-3

Definitely going follow.

Some one gave me a seed claiming it was from Afghan Kush, I doubt it really was, but Im going to plant in a recycling bin and Im getting a smal HPS too boost the cfls
