2nd Stealth Grow! -Capenkonic

Alright, Considering my first rubbermaid storage box grow worked very well. My parents got to it, They didnt care much just wanted it gone. It wasnt Stealthed enough.

Alright, so im starting a new grow box made especially for stealth.

This time i made it out of a karokee speaker. Its about 2 ft high, 1 ft Long, and 6 inches width. Not much to work with but still possible.

I have 2 23 w CFLS, 2700k spectrum i believe. No ventilation. Thermometer for temp.

Also my Lights are considerbly close to the Wood like half inch or less, would this heat the wood alot? Please respond.

your intentions are good however to answer some of your questions. First off your lights you need def need more double it up atleast have 4 of them and make sure they have a good amount of lumens as well. As for the lights being close to the wood it will be fine as long as you have proper insilation. Ventilation is a must so you have to make that one of your prioritys.

As for the deal with your parents finding it. They will find it again. Especially if they have caught you once. I suggest staying away from the box period. I promise they are going to find it. Heres why. The karioke box will leak light for sure due to the ventilation fans and you can put it all the way against the wall due to blockage of air flow so it will get noticed. I suggest going all out. Go big or go home . This plan is flawless in my opinion and will never be noticed.

I like that idea, although i do not have a computer desk drawer big enough for that..

I wish i had a camera so i could show you what i was working with.
I duct taped all of the light leakage, and i do have 2 Y splitters for 4 cfls, although since i have no ventilation having 4 would just heat up to much i would think. I am going to add ventilation asap though. and than maybe i could keep the temp down enough for 4 lights at once.

i did a grow box without ventilation for a test in and old shredder on a plant a few weeks old and it burnt to a crisp over night and it was with one cfl so you must have ventilation..and try to get some pics and just remember your goal is to make your box look closest to the original item it was as possible
