2nd try, 1 week into veg and already problems??

Ok so I have this little one about one week into veg and its showing yellow spots already Not sure whats up. Its indoor on 24hr lighing with cfls. Used miricle grow potting soil but may be overwatering. Any ideas??

if you lose this one to nute burn.....next time plant your seeds in a seedling mix or a jiffy pot,, neither has nutrients added and a seedling doesn't need any nutrients for at least a month....if you can transplant this one into some seedling mix you might save it or it could survive were it is but it will be stunted at best....good luck with that and better luck next time if it dies

you should not be watering very often with a seedling that size. What is the enviremont like where it is growing? a temp under 80 and air flow will help.

How many cfl's are you using and what is there wattage? Make sure you get them as close to the plant as possible without burning them. The bulb's can be within a few inches of the plant as long as you check often enough to move the bulb's as the plant fills out towards them.

The small amount of yellow should not be a concern unless growth stops than you probably have an over watering problem.

miracle grow is notorious for killing little plants..

more than likely its the onset of nute burn...

miracle grow works by releasing nutes everytime you water, whether or plants need it or not... its not the best thing to start with..

you can flush the soil well with ph'd water and try to remove the nutes in it.. this should help keep your little one alive..

if it doesnt kick the bucket you should invest in some plain old potting soil without any nutrient fortification.. this will give your young plant the best chance for survival... either that, or as was said, start with jiffy pellets or rockwool cubes.. and wait until you see roots popping from them before transplantting into soil..

i agree M Grow is a big no no, plenty of others out there to try i only watered mine when they looked bit limp. i switched from soil to bubbleponics best move i ever did have a look into it, cheap and easy also the roots you get are phanominal

i went from soil to a hydro setup myself..

i love the taste of good organics... nothing beats it... but the pain of trying to bring soil inside without my neighbors seeing.. or disposing of it.. not to mention the mess it made.. pretty much made the decision to do hydro for me... and let me say, DAMN.. the results so far have been amazing.. i am going to start flowering in about 11 or 12 days.. something like that.. whenever sept. 1 is thats day 1 of 12/12.. if the results stay as they have been in veg i am looking at the largest harvest i've had yet.. im aiming for 4lbs or better.. we'll see tho.. sorry for the thread jack...

so would i just be better off transplanting it or is it truely a lost cause. Does it appear to be nut burn or overwatering or both.
