Hey guys! I'm not going to change my mind about my setup right now. My mind is made up and when the rest of my equipment arrives I'll be running:

1000W FSLED
8 CFLs totalling a little over 250W.
3 fans intake, inside cabinet, exhaust.
2 hydrometers
1 dehumidifier
I'm using fox ocean soil.
Bloom nutes.

currently! I'm only raising one bagseed. Meanwhile I have 6 seeds coming. Dutch treat x1 and WWx5

For this bagseed while it's a seedling and until everything else gets here this week.

1 75W FSLED.
4 23w CFLs
1 exhaust fan.

Lighting schedule has been 24/0 for the most part. A couple 2 hour breaks in between. She is 9 days old as of 7/26 20200726_193431.jpg20200726_193424.jpg20200726_193412.jpg20200726_132807.jpg20200726_132657.jpg

Alright guys. I was actually talking to my girlfriend prior to this. And I said check this out. I showed her these pictures. The first one is 7/20/2020 the second/third pictures are exactly 1 week later 7/27/2020. Took all 3 pictures at 10:30:00am CST.
The second photo is just showing you how short she is still. Which is awesome that she's bushing up instead of stretching out!Screenshot_20200727-104611_Gallery.jpg20200727_104408.jpg20200727_104357.jpg

July 29th update! (Going into tent with a lot more lighting tomorrow!)

She is growing very well. I cant wait to see how she responds to the new lights.

If anyone is reading this. Do you think she is ready to be topped? 20200729_214643.jpg20200729_214719.jpg20200729_214715.jpg20200729_214704.jpg20200729_214658.jpg

Is there anything wrong here? I'm guessing the 1 burnt tip means I just BARELY overdid it with the nutes. The cotyledons die on their own so I'm not worried ab them. But in my opinion everything is fine. The only leaves that have any mishaps are the first set of leaves. Which doesnt worry me they're the oldest lol but if anyone can give me any tips or if you see anything wrong please tell me!!20200801_130942.jpg20200801_130933.jpg20200801_130920.jpg20200801_130916.jpg20200801_130910.jpg20200801_130902.jpg20200801_130858.jpg20200801_130844.jpg20200801_130850.jpg

I am fairly inexperienced, but if the soil has allowed such solid and green growth, you probably don’t need added nutes yet. At the very least I would cut back by at least half strength. How much of what did you add? As for the topping I believe 5-7 nodes is recommended before topping, how much you cut depends on the topping method.

I'm in the learning state myself. But yeah I forgot nutes are for when the plant has used the nutes up in the soil. And trust me the soil has nutes. Probably enough for 60 days at least. I cannot top yet. But I could FIM her. Had an accident last night. Shell be recovering a few days. Something fell and cut off a 3 finger leaf and fucked her shape up. She's back up now but recovering.

Yeah I believe I read a few places that the soil can go a minute. When you do start adding less is usually best and build up. Looks good though. The accident part happens too, they are pretty resilient to physical damage.

Yeah they're resilient but then again they're weeds... hahaha. Yeah man soil can go the whole grow. A lot of growers brag about running full cycles without any added nutes. I use regular potting soil from lowes. And I mix it with fox farm ocean soil. And that could last the entire 90 days by itself. I have 2 1000W LEDs. I taped something between them and then them together. And the thing inbetween fell RIGHT ON THE CENTER OF THE PLANT!!! 16SQFT AND IT LANDED ON THAT 1 SQ???? SO SAD lol.

But yes! With the nutes. I used a gal of water. And then I put a little less than 1oz. Of nutes. I used the gallon of water to water my plant. And my baby bonsais that are germinating in soil atm. Throwing the rest of the mix away. Wont make again until she's at least 70 days old
