Well I decided not to start a DWC Bucket yet.......I honestly need to do more research and make sure I have all the correct things in place first. My problem is space! Not in my tent but in my little shoe box apartment. Believe it or not my 4x4 tent in my bedroom takes up almost half my room. My full queen size bed has a 4 inch clearance from my tent! My veg box is already full, thats why I vegged my Jack in my bathroom. I need a bigger apartment badly! You need to move here so me you and BC can run and sleep in a grow wharehouse!!! You will be in charge of the Hydro department and also Scientific Breeding Department. LOL It would be fun man. Shit all I need is a cot to sleep on surrounded but Flowering Plants!!!! Ahhhhhh. Hey I got a surprise for you bro!!! I will show you later on. I have to get back to work now!

I hear you - you have a lot going on already, especially for the amount of space available... But man, thinking about being able to grow legally and having a lot of space would be a dream come true. I need to find a decent job though!

Have fun at work and I'll be online later to see what's up with the surprise...

Hey Tao did you make that lil screen or did you find that? Shit is awesome lol.. I'm kinda thinking that i wanna try something like that on my next cycle! Thats the best part about these sites is all the shit i couldn't possibly think of you guys are already doing lol! Love it!

It is basically just staked into the net pot lid so I can move/clean/work on the plant or bucket as needed w/o issue. Or I can pickup and move the plant/screen together into a newly mixed bucket... @tricka - I think the little leaves on Athena make Minerva's look bigger than they are but the average sized ones are about the width of a bill:

I actually had to remove the largest fan leaves as they were hanging over the bucket lid edge and I kept cutting/tearing them and they made it a pain to get in the bucket.

Surprise.....my 1st ever "Tao Wolf Coffee Grow Mom Bucket"

I told you I would give it a whirl...I was of course inspired by your original Coffee Grow Mom Bucket Set-Up. I think and hope it works.

Nutes Added:

1 tsp GB / 1 tblsp BB / 1 tsp MicroBlast

After nutes were mixed for 15 minutes I pH'd it to 5.8

Clone of MD#3 the one that I dropped my R.Ed Kush plant ontop. (Clipped 26 Feb and WELL ROOTED) These Root Riot Plugs work good, plus MD liked to be cloned I guess, I didnt even clip her leaves.

I was nervous after I put it in cause I really want it to work. I am and have been a puss about trying it so I figure I start small. Its in my bathroom with CFLs.

I'm down for any honest work that will allow me to finish a degree (school part-time/work full-time). There are just so many people looking for work here - last hospital that opened up in this area had over 200 applicants for each position. Harsh.

It's a quick DIY job after I found the screen panel and noticed it was just about the perfect size for trying a mini-SCRoG. Used these little zipties to attach wooden shiskabob stakes to make the legs which are anchored in the hydroton. After adding the last beneficial microbes though I noticed the wooden stakes got fuzzy... So I'll have to find an alternative to the wooden stakes next time but otherwise it seems to be working well and without hassle so far.

That's awesome man! I think that's a great way to introduce hydroponics to yourself and you get cool points for using Folger's buckets...

Looks great though man - keep me updated and if you have any questions or problems let me know and I'll try to help!

If you scroll over the images you can see the file names - all my plant file names include the date.
The first photo, when they were still in individual mini hempies, was on 7th January, the last photo was on 26th Feb.
The dates in the file name are in reverse order ie: yymmdd, that way when I keep them in a folder they are all automatically sorted into the correct order - it's one of my obsessions.

When the last photo was taken the screen had been in place for 3 weeks.

Minerva (MD1) went through a crazy growth spurt last night and has started popping some pistils out. Too few and small to photograph but the show is about to begin. =D

Couple of pictures to show her size now:

21" in height and 26" in width @ time of first pistils - 15 days post-12/12.

I didn't really even get Athena worked into the screen until the flowering stretch started but want to try it properly next time. Do you have a thread or journal that details everything you did? I'd like to reference how you did things once I'm setting up to do the next grow.

Edit to add, I found it again in your Ramblings thread. Meant to subscribe to that one originally...

Most of what I do is "documented" in the Ramblings of ... etc thread shown in my sig.

Once this ScrOG is finished (4 to 5 weeks) I plan on posting a new thread just about how I grew that plant. Hopefully on a grams per watt basis the grow will be something to talk about ... especially considering how few watts the plant is using.
I'm hoping to exceed the 1 gram/watt and if I don't do it with that ScrOG it will be the next one, or the one after that ...

Good deal - funnily enough I had literally just found your post and was editing my post to reflect that and we posted at the same time. I'm going to get caught up on it right now. But yeah, looks very promising, no doubt.

I looked through about 200 pictures last night trying to find the original... I think it may be lost to mankind.... forever.... :-(

I dont know if I ever mentioned it to you that she takes a while to show sex. 2 weeks is about normal from my past grow of MD. She looks good! My MD is still alive, my ppm is 950 and my pH 5.8. How long does it usually take for the roots to hit res?
EDIT"She also likes to stretch alot...."

It depends on how big the net cup is but root growth is a pretty fast process - won't be long at all. Yeah MD is stretching a lot more than I thought she would (width as much as height) but that's fine - I have a bit of space to spare. She's been awesome to grow so far.

The Snow White cutting started rooting today finally... but funnily enough, it took a big airpump falling on top of him and squashing him flat overnight before he decided it was a good idea to root.

What do you think of the time-lapse test I just updated? Too fast/slow? Too blurry? Any suggestions? I know the color sucks because I have the 150HPS in there right now to get the clones ready for breeding... but hopefully it's not too bad.

heres my 0.2 Tao......with the time lapse test, i think it would be better to show the plant from around the 45 degree angle, having that bit of side view will help the viewer destinguish between moving and growing (both vertical and outward growth) atm it does look quite blury.....see what happens is that your timing intervals will be way out if you want to make a 1min video but only showing say 2wks or a months worth of growth, compared to a 1 min video of the whole grow....if you use your timing sequences as you are in the test then by the time you got the whole grow down you'll have 100000 pics and the vid will go for 7 mins. do you catch me??
