Thanks, sorry for off top but i have a problem with my t6 that around 4-6 level it creates loud high pitched noise, even silencer and soundproof box dont change. It screws my gorilla 2x4 project that i try to be silent as possible. Do yours act the same way when connected to carbon filter ?

record high temps and new puppy sidetracked me, but the dispensary pissed me off yesterday so probably start ordering things (tents/lights) out of spite

I have the progrow 320. That Kevin is a fuckin great guy. The light is a great product. What stood out to me was call grow light science Kevin will personally answer the phone and any questions you have. Not sponsored. And no disrespect to mars or spider farmer but u won’t get that kinda answer on the other end of the phone

I have 2- 4x2 tents one cheap cool grows I have had for years and a Mars tent. Mars is definitely a better tent but the cheap tent has has been running for 5 years. I have 11 plants in the 2 tents. 6 nanaz by Robinhood seeds vegged In 1.5 gallon pots transplanted to 4 gallon vegged for 8 weeks. Flipping Friday. And 5 Violet fuel by square one genetics

Two autos fill a 2x4 over the first four weeks every time, there's no way you'll fit any more in there unless you remove half or three quarts of each plant. This is two autos in a 2x4 at like week five or six from seed and I've heavily lollipopped and defoliated.
Hell, heres one auto filling a 2x4 in a 2 gallon pot and it only vegged for five weeks...I just can't see a world where veg for 8 weeks with a single plant would fit in a 2x4, let alone multiple. Do you move to another tent to veg for 8 weeks?
Op, 2 plants max in a 2x4 for sure unless you want four half plants in there.

The ProGrow 320 and the ChilLED Growcraft X6 Mini are at the top of the list.
For tents I'm considering Covert (Hydrobuilder) as I cannot see the benefit in paying the Gorilla premium.

Well he’s pics since u don’t believe me lol and this is an actual full canopy. The tight fit for me is the 4 gallon pots will b switching to 1 gallon for veg and 3 gallon for flower after this run. I dont grow autos anymore the crap shoot isn’t worth the crap imo again not knocking autos there just not for me. I have a total of 58 plants between inside and outside here’s a link to a half assed grow log. To the op u can fill the canopy fast with more plants. That’s what it’s about for me, get them grown and flowered I take cuts so nothing is lost. Wanna note to that I vegged these girls with the pro grow @ 25-29” from the canopy running 40% (122 watts) for 295$ I don’t think there’s a better option out there

Thats awesome. Nice work. I've never had plants that stay stout enough. It already feels like I've removed more plant than I've kept this time and it hurts. Different strokes. At the end of the day, I've just found two short cycle autos is the easiest way for me to pull my 8-10oz every three months in a 2x4 without a lot of defol and training work as i'm lazy. I just cant keep up with the amount of defol and training with more plants. Yes it makes daily work and you have to top them twice. but I can pull a pound out of my 2x4 without weighing lowers in 16 weeks. Talkin just crowns. With leds anything below the tops just isn’t worth it to me. With hps that was a different story. My buddy cotterjuice pulled a pound in 90 days with clones in his 2x4 under the progro. Totally get that different strokes lol. I have hella space so for me everything from seed starts and flowers it’s first trip thru in my 2x4 tents and the cuts get moved to the veg 4x8 waiting there turn for the flower 4x8.

That was the main issue I was having with two taller plants. Even with my best run which was 12.5 oz in the 2x4, close to 3 oz just didnt get enough light and was all popcorn.

Regardless of how many plants u opt to put in there, it’s 100% best to be vigilant in your garden and proactive instead of reactive. Don’t overwhelm yourself slither different plants want different things I have been growing for a long ass time. Being able to read and listen to ur plants and have the time to give them each the attention the desire isn’t for everyone. If that’s the case 2 plants will be fine. I wouldn’t suggest growing autos this way bc if u have a runt or a shitty pheno ur left with 1 plant and open floor space. That’s why I got away from autos. The inconsistency was annoying and the smoke fell short

That’s the nice part about my processes every pheno type in the seeds I pop is displayed in the 2x4 as the clones are rooting. If there’s one with odd bud structure or lack of frost it never sees more than a rooting puck. Also I just couldn’t see always buying seeds. I clone everything most of my Beene get flowered 2-3 times. I am also known to pollen chuck and make my own seeds. I never liked the limitations with autos. But when I started growing there was no autos or led. Shit it was hard to get quality genetics lol everything was cmh and hps. I have adapted where I thought I needed to but mainly stayed true to my convictions

Decided on a Covert 2x4 from Hydrobuilder; on sale and found a coupon, so $145 shipped. I might be missing something, but I simply couldn't see the advantage in buying the Gorilla for twice as much.
I read somewhere that it's a good idea to double-check interior dimensions before purchasing a light, so once this is set-up I can hopefully make a decision on a light. I keep coming back to the ChilLED Growcraft X3 330w - seems to be one of the better options for a 2x4.
NASC has feminized Humboldt Afghani Twenty20 Mendocino - think I might give that a shot first.
