3,1 pound plants

Ok guys heres the project im aiming to grow 3 plants with ayield of.1-1.5 pounds each. I have.both a.6x6 grow.tent.and a.4x4 tent(which should i use ). Ill also be running 1 1000 watt conv. system but am considering adding an xtra 250 or 400 watts system to maximize yield.Going straight hydro on this run and time is of know.concern im tryna take my time on this.to.get the.stickiest. juiciest bud I.hvent smoked yet.So guys.thats the.project send your tips and tricks please.Pic.will be up soon

Unless you are an expert at what you're doing, (and as a first time hydro grower, you are not), even two 1000 HPSs wouldn't yield you 4.5 pounds from three plants. Not to mention the incredible room inefficency from vegging three plants long enough to even try to yield that much.

You need smaller goals or more plants

Veg them for 3 months and you'll be in business.

3lbs = 1360 grams

1360 grams off of a 1000w light...

I don't know how much experience you have with your setup, it will require quite a bit to get that yield, if it's even possible.

If you do pull it off, I'm sure a lot of guys around here would love to know what you did and copy it, as that gram to watt ratio is really high.

It takes a while but with good luck and a lot of reading , you will grow some nice buds. Stop worrying about total weight.


And just for you neewbies out there , just ask anyone who has done a few harvest before . Harvest day becomes a whole lot of work. If you trim it right , it is WORK .

He he, most people do not realize this. I become a grumpy bastard around trimming time, I moved from bi-weekly perpetual harvest to monthly and by the third week of the month I start to get anxious and cannot sleep; not because I am excited to harvest, but I know how much work is involved.

If you ran 2k I would hope you could pull around 1700 grams.... that is still under a gram a watt.... from 3 plants this would be a little tougher.

If it was me I would run the 6x6, 15 or 20 gallon smart pots and 4 plants. Under that 1000, it would take a while to veg them out and they would need a good screen or support system but I am sure it would end up pretty nice. As far as actual yield numbers that is something I cannot or well choose not to guess at cause it is based on skill level, genetics, and etc.
