600's scroggin a plant per light not sure if 1000's would be worth the heat issues
I my opinion you'd be better off with 600's. 600W coverage is 4x4 while a 1000W is 5x5. You'd be able to get your lights closer and not have to deal with as many heat issues. You'd also save on your power bill.

You could scrog but you could also easily grow 6 to 8 full-sized topped plants. Not sure what would produce more but I'm sure people with more experience doing both could chime in. I like growing them out if I have the room and scrog when I have space limitations. That's just me though.

Are you doing soil or hydro?

Another thing to consider when deciding between 1k and 600w ballasts is the amperage draw. You may have to add a breaker or up an existing breaker for the room for 3k worth of lights. 1800 watts may require you to up your breaker by 5 amps or so. You'd have to calculate it out and see what size breaker you have for the room. I can help you calculate it if you need. You don't want to start any fires, and we want to keep everyone here safe :-)

10 gallon pots of coco...soo hydro.... probably going to squeeze them in tighter than 4x4. figured scrog would yield better for the strain being ran because of the extreme bushiness. going with one plant per light because flowering got delayed the plants are 11 weeks in veg and almost 3x3.not sure if anyone would have a better idea for flowering let me know about 2 inches below the canopy its pretty much dark these things are dense

Using a sheet of plywood as a door may not be ideal, because they are very heavy. I have done this before, but had to use some heavy duty hinges. I also used a big castor to support the end that swings, which made it much easier to open.
