3 day old seedlings, leaning to the side?? pics included

Hey fellow growers, i germanated my seeds for 48hours until all the roots were a decent length then potted them 3 days ago, went into the grow room today and noticed a few of my girls were leaning to the side, theres defo plenty of light.. my mediums 70/30 coco coir and perlite, ive been feeding them 0.7 ec 0.5 of that is my nutrients, and my ph is 5.9, what could be the cause of them leaning as ive never experienced this before? Maybe ive overwatered?? I dont know, i thought they were doing exceptionally well with the short time they took to germanate and pop there heads above the medium, but now im a little worried so some feedback would be much appreciated...

seedling lean towards the light

IMO the pots are too large at this stage or you need more lights to cover the seedlings

No im using a 600w hps, theres plenty of light, and the pots are the smallest ive ever used.. only 1 litre pots..

looks like a few groups of seedling are all face a middle point ( normaly this is caused from growing under cfls bulbs )

your seedling will alway face the closes light, don't know what else to say fellow just don't make sense what you are saying

How does it not make sense? It obviously isnt the light thats making them lean as the 600w is no more than 1/1/2ft away, thats why i asked what other reasons could there be? But you seem intent on the light issue, yet i find it hard to believe thats the only reason they would lean, we both know a hps produces enough light so how is what i wrote not making sense.

What bulb is in your 600 watt?they are defiantly stretching to much. The pot size is fine I start mine right in the final pot.

A 600w bulb, i honestly dont think theyve stretched there bearly an inch tall.. and the majority are standing tall its just a couple that seem to be leaning, could over watering make them lean? Maybe not getting enough oxeygen? Im quite happy with they there height.

Do not worry. All the the seedlings which seem to be leaning will soon straighten out.
I have seen this happen with newly emerged seedlings outdoors under direct sunlight.

Seedlings with a lean are particularly vulnerable to falling over when watering. It's a good idea to water them with a spray bottle rather than dumping water on the dirt.

I bought a package of 12 inch bamboo skewers at WalMart for a buck. I use the skewers along with pipecleaners to make little hook-shaped supports for leaners.Works great! Also, plants will lean towards the light. You can turn the pot so that a leaner has to lean back the other way and straighten out. Try not to turn the pots very often or you will get a case of "swirly" leaves.

Thats a great idea if they continue to lean as they get taller ill be sure to try that, appreciate the advice.

No there stretching by the pics. You'll know in 2 more days if they start falling over lol. At least pack some dirt around the leaners

Like i stated before my seedlings are not stretching, the straight ones are an inch tall, the leaners are not even an inch, ive dealt with stretched seedlings, and close to 4 day old seedlings at an inch tallest from my experience is not stretched, i dont see how its possible for a brand new 600w hps not to give off enough light..

The 600w is far too much for the seedlings at this very early stage, keep it raised high. The leaning is nothing. New seedlings have weak stems and find it hard to hold themselves up, this will pass. A light fan can help strengthen the stems.
