3 day seedling lost top will it grow back

My light fell on top of my three day old easy ryder seedling overnight and burned through about half inch of stem. I cut the burned top off of it. Have they been known to grow new leaves after something like this? There is still a good two inches of stem left. It's a shame, this was the faster growing of the two plants i have going. It was quite tall compared to the other--more dominant sativa pheno I believe...

Damn that sucks dude... Sorry to hear that. Give it a few days and see if an little leaflets start to form. But since you cut off the tip and the leaflets that were there form growth, you might not get anything sorry to say. May just have to morn the loss and start over

Thanks very much for the comments. So I won't get my hopes up. Nor can I bring myself to pull the poor little thing untill she has withered completely and fallen over.... As for pics. well she is just a stem not much to see...just a stem............waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

My friend. And I do mean friend.:bigjoint: He lost "A" plant. better to think he lost a male or a hermie,:-P then dwell on if it was a female.:sad:

It's a bright way of looking at the downside, thats all. Course I don't know the sex. But ITS GONE...Better than...you know....:wall:

Ya it really is helping me cope believe it or not... I am on a tight budget so I ordered just one more easy from the tude. Just waiting now.
