Been smoking 15 years. Had plenty of breaks. Once when I was 20 a girl made me quit. Was in university and have ADHD.. I use MJ for my concentration. Began smoking again when my grades starting hurting then began having panic attacks every single time I would smoke. Was a rough couple years. Beat my panic attacks after years of practice (still have a couple but not many) and haven't stopped. I work 24-48 hour shifts so I am forced to not smoke but my girl has a bag ready every time I get home ;). Switched to volcano due to coughing up black stuff from smoking bong I assume. Being sober is fine, just hard for me to focus and I tend to speak before I think.

Twice a year or so I'll take a month off to straighten my head. After a week I remember every dream...it's a crazy contrast..

Dreams are also very euphoric and I can turn them lucid by counting (or failing to) count my fingers if I recognise anything.

Only happens when I'm clean.

Ya it has to do with the anesthesia. Apparently, cannabinoids interrupt it and you can wake up during surgery which would be a fucking nightmare.
i had my wisdom teeth taken out but with local anasthesia why do you need to be unconcious for a simple procedure like that?

ah also whenever i‘m sick i stop smoking till i get better longest was 14 days from swine flu

I had a gen 1 pax and vaped the moment I got home from my wisdom tooth extraction. God damn I was so fucking high after that lol

Longest I have gone in the last decade was about 3 months, give or take.

Currently I am one month in, to the day, and this will be the longest I have ever gone due to being accepted into an apprenticeship with the local IBEW. Fingers crossed this shit is federally legalized or they invent a better means of drug testing in the next 5 years lol

I did mj every night for years, when I stopped I had the same thing happen, crazy vivid dreams. MJ does fuck with your sleep, breaks are a must imo. There’s a Joe Rogan podcast on sleep and mj with a guy named Matt Walker, very good info

God damnit. The day I've been avoiding since I was a teenager.... Wisdom tooth extraction. I made it this long but now they gotta come out. This is gona suck. Not to mention I can't consume cannabis in any form 3 days before surgery. 3 FUCKING DAYS? Lol. Jk. Totally doable it's just gona suck the big one for a few days. Wow. I can't even remember the last time I didn't smoke weed in a day. Prob the first time I went to Nashville and asking someone there for weed is apparently the same as telling them you're a murderer of infants.
What's the longest you've gone 'sober' for? What's the world like if not through the glossy red eyes of a stoner?
I'm scared
Started smoking at 15 in 1965. I've been "sober" multiple times. Sometimes for years at a time. OR nurse Level I trauma. ER Level I. People deserve someone totally clear headed when they're unfortunate enough to end up those places. Sometimes you just do what you have to do even if you don't like it.

Its just a precaution. They need to document your use incase complications arise. Just consider it a 72hr tolerance break.

But more importantly, no smoking afterwards. Molar extractions have the highest probability for dry sockets. Its nearly impossible to control the pain once those clots dislodge and the bone and nerves are exposed.

Get er done, take good care of yourself and get on the mend.

I was high damn near every day for about 7 years. Got a dog. Started walking her quite a bit, didnt feel the need to be high all the time, but still felt the urge and that didnt sit well with me, so I quit until I didnt have the urge to smoke at all.

The first two weeks this last time was pretty rough, but I got through it. The only substances I cant seem to quit are caffeine and sugar.
