hi so f i plant is producing 3 bladed leaves dose that indicate it might be male or have bad genetics
i know its normal for the 1st set of leaves to be 3 bladed but every time ive grow a plant the second set is a 5 bladed leaf
whats your thoughts on seeds that product 3 bladed leave and how long would you expect for then to start producing 5 and up bladed leaves eg 1st set 2,3,4 anything past the 4th set of leaves would differently have me worries considering the seed is apparently a feminized one

As they mature leaf structures change from 3 5 7 9 if lucky you see 11

im not sure about genetics or just bad growing skills but from past experiences 4 plants grew 2,lots of 3's, and then some 5's and a few 7's the grow i got going now went froms 2's to 1 set of 3's then straight into 5's and 7's. these plants are growing much healthier then the other 4 plants i had. not saying it's your growing skills but based on mine i would say those 4 plants got rekt just cause of how new i was and didn't know wtf i was really doing at the time.

i got 3/4 seeds from the same company just different strains. they were blue widows and idk what company it came from because it's just labeled under the seed banks name so i guess they make their own seeds? sell it for cheaper the ones i got going i bought from the seed bank but they are actuall dutch passion seeds.

im use to seeing 1 bladed then 3 then 5. ive grow the same strain for that long i have forgotten how other strains behave. i could grow a plant in a wet sock and still product a good harvest so it has nothing to do with my growing skills but your information is still appreciated

wasn't saying your growing skills but i wasn't sure if it had anything to do with growing skills due to my first few grows. are they clones or just seeds of the same strain? maybe different pheno's? i have 3 plants all same strain but all seeds 1 kinda lagged behind grew a few extra nodes with 3's compared to the other 2

The plant would opt to grow leaves with the most blades but this would be resource/energy dependant.

An assumption here is that if your first single blades are three bladed it just managed to get a superiorcstart on life but if you see successive three bladed leaves after these first leaf sets and not the usual 5 7 and 9 respectively then that indicates a problem.

Genetically this plant dosent mutate often or easily but stress and optimal conditions will induce morphological change and non genetic transient mutation.

Weed has ultra strong genetics or you would see more variation in the gazillion strains - different leaves structure stems chems etc etc but it does however love diversity which is why we have a gazillion strains and anyone can chuck pollen.

the 1st photo is from the 1st or march the other photo is from the 6th of march by that stage i normally see better leaf development but i guess its still very young so might just be a slow starter
