3 Month Rocklock Fem or Male? Ready for Flowering stage?

Hello all,

I have a 3 month old Rocklock I believe is now ready for flowering stage, however, I wanted some feedback as this is my first grow. Can anyone help me identify the sex or is it too early? I've been telling her she's a female for months so I'm hoping she has obeyed! For the flowering stage I plan to move her inside, put her under HPS for 12/12. FYI - she was outside for most of vegetative (currently located in the suburbs of DC) currently 16 hours sunlight / 8 hours nightI appreciate any / all advice and support.

it was ready weeks ago, can't say for certain on sex as you can only see the preflower but no pistil not a good sign

If there are no balls or pistils how are you able to distinguish it as a male?

I can see ballish shaped growths in every picture, some look like a female calyx but with no pistil, I wouldn't chop it down just yet though.

Is there a chance it could be a female or even hermie?

yes to both, get a closer shot at the node you've got plenty of time to decide what's up.

I'm going to be the oddball, and say it's a female, even though some of the preflowers do look somewhat male'ish. I've looked at MANY preflowers, and from my experience, these sorts turn out to be female, most of the time. In other words, this one's not clear cut, so you'll have to wait to be sure. I grew one Rocklock freebie, last year, and it hermied like crazy,(and i believe it was in it's genetics, not from stress) so let's hope that's not the case, with you.lol
