3 Months Veg 10-12 weeks flowering?

I am thinking about starting a grow and have 125 watt cfl grow bulbs.

I will be using fox farm ocean forest soil for my pots. (soil grow)

And fox farm's big grow and big bloom liquid fertilizers.

My question is this - Can I run the light 24/7 for the first 3 months and call her done and ready to flower?

And if so after 3 months of 24/7 full spectrum daylight it would switch to 2700k and 12/12.

At first I was thinking I would flower for 10 weeks counting the first 2 that it wont flower for. Then I was thinking maybe if I did 12 weeks it would turn out better.

Does this sound like it would work?
I know there are lots of better ways out there but I need to know if this sounds like it would work.

persoanlly. id veg with 20/4 or 18/6

24 hours would work , but if you give them a dark period it can use that precious stored energy and grow grow grow!

as for the length of time you veg for

i veg for 4 weeks, till they hit like 6-10 inches..

then i flower for 8 -9 weeks

i veg under cfls

460w worth

then i flower under a 600w hps,

but i also have a 460w 2700k cfl bloom light aswell

obviously the hps works better

More veg = bigger yields

Do yoursef a favor - make two rooms - one for veg and one for floweing.

Veg ur plants for two months then switch them to the other room, at the same time get some more babies into your veg room - that way you will have a harvest every two months.

Cfls are ok to begin with but you really need hps if you want to see a decent result for your efforts in the flowering stage.

Good luck.
