3 Plant setup. Given 2 new plants just now. Please help with setup, and schedule!

Right now all three plants are about 45 days old, all on a 12/12 hps light cycle.

I was just given two more small plants by a family member to grow, 2 fem CH9 humbolt strain, about a month and a week old.

- I figured 5 plants under one light isn't a good idea, plus the fact that the two new plants need a veg cycle.

But my options are limited. I suppose I could setup a new spot for the 2 plants, but if not needed I would like to try and keep them in the same room.

- Family member also gave me a light, to use for the plants. I don't know want kind of light it is, as i have only used a mh and hps light, and this light is neither. (Pic posted of light)

Questions

- Would i be able to make it work with starting a different light schedule in the same room, in a far corner of them room for the two new plants?

- Does anyone know what kind of light it is, and could i use it for veg or flower, and for how long?

- Does anyone have any suggestions of what i should do in this situation? Willing to hear about any options!

- Do i have to setup a new grow room?

- Does anybody know anything about these CH9 strains, if there pretty good or not?

I don't that would be a good idea, how are you going to keep the first batch in TOTAL darkness during their dark cycle if you're lighting other plants in the same room??

As I stated, it's CFL. Compact Florescent Light. And a low watt one by the looks of it... Most of it's light comes from it's sides, which is why the reflector is a good choice. Although to properly veg with these (which is fully possible) you'll want to get a high number of them.
Here's a pic of my CURRENT (as it changes often as I experiment) CFL setup in a similar reflector.



WAY more lights then I need for the plant, but... I have my reasons. Although this number of lights is acceptable for a plant maybe 2x-3x times this size.
For ones your size, you'd need at least 5-6 bulbs, but that's debatable. Just be sure to surround the plant if possible, with 1 higher watt (100+W) above IF POSSIBLE. 6-8 23-26W 6500°K bulbs will do the trick though.
You can only use CFL's for 1, MAX 2 grows before they lose power and aren't as good for growing. We can't see the difference so much, but the plants can tell.
Use the old ones around the house. And you'll want to switch to your HPS when you move them into flower.

Most of my suggestions were under the former questions. Just make sure the pots have good drainage, good soil (Fox Farms Ocean Forest is a pretty standard and agreed upon as a good soil for growers).
Just get yourself between 6-12 good 26W GE CFL's (they emit the least heat, the ones from walmart get REALLY hot).
And few reflectors, and a maybe 6-7 Y adapters to fit more bulbs, with less sockets cluttering up your grow area.


- Do i have to setup a new grow room?

Yes, you'll want to set up a small area JUST for vegging. You will find this allows you to do a perpetual grow. IE; Growing plants in veg and in flower at the same time, so after you harvest the flowering ones, you move the next into the flower room. While at the same time, you begin your next veg crop, that way you get a harvest every couple months, instead of the full time of a grow.
But any area you can light sufficiently, and can be climate controlled (by you with fans or heaters if needed). Depending on how much room you have depends on how long you veg them for. While in veg, keep them on a 20/4, or 18/6 light cycle (preferably on timers).

Make sure the pots you have them in have good drainage, and that your soil has plenty of perlite.
