3 Walk In Closets. Help Me Design

I have attached pictures of 2 of the closets. the other closet is the same size as the first one posted.

Anyhow, I am off to a small start. I bought 3 4' 2 bulb hoods and have 1 cool white bulb and 1 plant F-40 bulb in each hood(I think this will cover the spectrum). I just germinated my seeds and am ready to put them under a 18/6 schedule in potting soil(I start them like this). I am planning about 4 rubbermade tub hydroponic setups(2 will be in the flowering closet and 2 will be in the vegetative closet under HPS lighting) I havent made my hydroponics setup's yet, and have never tried hydroponic's. Any ideas on what I should do with the second closet I posted?




please excuse the boxes in the one closet and the straw in the other....birds got in that closet last year....got a cat to cure that problem

I started some seedlings in normal soil from outdoors....I have to wait for these seedlings to get big enough to transplant to hydroponics...I would show you a picture, but, it is embarrassing to look at that soil. here is a side view for you.

Yeah, when I get back from a business trip I plan on cleaning both closets with bleach water then painting white and hanging Mylar around the entire closets.

Also, has anyone ever used Carbonated natural spring water and misted their plants with it? I heard it adds massive Co2, but, I have never tried it.

I think it looks like you've got more than one plant in that pot, and most people say you shouldn't do that.

yeah, that pot got more than one seed....I wasnt sure if one was going to make it so I put it off to the side in that one. I was going to try to get it large enough to transplant then put it in its own "home"

hey man i would hook up your outake air before you paint and let that sit for almost a week or around there ya know ..... those paint fumes will kill all your plants if there not out .....thats really important i lost some cause of paint then i installed new carpet and did it agian so make sure it smells clean before you start .............and dont rush the grow man not tell you what to do but your rooms are not even ready yet and your going on a trip so yea hahaha just chill and enjoy the build and grow.....i rushed alot of things when i built my rooms and i was doing the same thing already had sprouts going before i had my room so i rushed and now i am waiting to harvest everything i have then clean the rooms out and make some changes.....just trying to help .........is this your first grow ??.....and do you have a MMcard ? what state are you in ?? hahaha baked man

I'm in Alaska...wonderful MJ laws here. Sucks because I am going to SD for a week due to work(I wear a suit and tie to work, LOL) and I will have to leave my good stuff at home.

Yes this is MY first grow, but, I have helped with many other grow rooms. I really thought it would take longer for my seeds to germinate so I did get off to a bit of an early start with them. The room they are in now has been cleaned with bleach water, it just doesnt have Mylar up and all the lights yet. Again, those sprouts are just at 5 days old.....had no idea they would take off so fast.

My major problem with the closets they are in is the ceiling slants....trying to figure out how I am going to fit 2 rubbermade hydro sets in each one and still being able to reach the back one.

I think you're getting ahead of yourself here. You need to get all lighting, ventilation and everything set up before you start growing...

aww alaska very nice i want to go one day..... if your in cali alot you should get a mmcard then mail your sacks to you .....hahaha try and mail a clone that be sick if it got there in good shape.

hmmm i am not sure how your going to hook up everything but if you have a deep closet and your trying to reach the back ones cause you cant walk ontop of your girls haha.....just make a raised floor for each closet then install the floor on drawer brackets, make sure you have big enough ones and enough of them....then after its all installed you have a floor that will slide out like a drawer.....kinda hard to explain let me know if you understand or not.

LOL, by the time you go on vacation it will prolly be in full force producing. This whole thing will only take me a couple hours to set up.

I have lighting for vegetation....So, I have a good 2 months before I have to worry about MH or anything for flowering. I got plenty of time....I figure when I get back from SD I will have to hurry on finishing the closet they are in.

Only reason I dont grow outside is its so freakin' cold here....no wonder alaska made it legal.....so cold there is nothing to do but smoke out, go figure.

first of all... yes get your rooms all setup and running good constant temps before planting... also... get some perlite to add to your seedlings ... what's going on with that ? looks like their sitting in mud lol....

btw ... my aunt and uncle live in alaska .. (north pole)

they are sitting in mud. I couldnt get to the store to buy potting soil when I started germinating.....2 days turned to 3 days still not getting out so I did what I could....figured I could always transplant when they get big enough.

I will have enough money when I get back to do everything.....I have potting soil now which I planted my next set of germinated seedlings, but, had to leave town.......figure by the time I get back everything will be messed up and I will have to start from scratch(brother is coming over to water....but, how reliable is that?). I will clean, paint, mylar, do lights, exhaust, and set up my hydroponics....next time I leave for 5 days the hydroponics lights and timers should do the work while I am away. Sorry, if I rambled.....brought some of my brother's batch with me to SD and I smoked a few bowls.....just hope im not singing "I fought the law" before I leave.
