We can deduce that the type of plant is cannabis and that a water leaf is fancy talk for "fan leaf".
Yes, sometimes plans shoot out three bladed fan leaves.

some of my clones have single finger fan leaves all over now that they are reverting to veg from flower.

I guess by water leaves he could've meant cotyledons? That would be really weird, but probably not unheard of.
