That is still bull shit man. The "Cannabis Grow bible" says never cut the main stem during flowering you only top your plant after the 3rd or fifth week of its sexual maturity and most definitely not during flowering this will delay your flowering periods from 1 to four weeks and i dont think you want to risk that at all. Plus your yeild dramatically decreases because the top cola does not grow anymore, instead it trys to heal itself and ends up produce not even half the amount that it could have produced, Strain dependent? maybe not

The Cannbis Grow bible is the most professional advice I have ever read. and yes i will take a picture of my naturally grown AK47 grown with the advice of the bible, and you will see that professionalism needs to be in consideration when growing cannabis.

that is true to a point though i think. if you are not a legal grower and you do not want anyone to no whats going on and your in a little closet or grow box then yes you better get the book and read up, but if you can grow freely then i fell most of the talk in the books don't relate to my grow setups. im sure that's why i can get away with 90 to 100 degree temps in their without burning my plant.

lol im just really proud to be an owner of such a pretty plant right now. I have 16 tops with out supercropping, FIMing, and topped it at 8 nodes high when it was 6 weeks old. So far every top has at least a quad on it at three weeks flowering, so im at week 9 and a half now. This is without hormones but good ole nutrients, CO2 and the best light that i can put in a 5x1x1, closet. Be patient with your plant and have fun with it, the true flowering wont happen for you in another 3 to five weeks from now im assuming, but you dont have to listen to me just listen to the proper advice.

it seems like every 2 weeks i come across a thread where it's just sad to see what some are telling others to do, i feel bad for the newb who thinks ther getting good advice.... what if this poster saw that third post i think it was and went out chopped the top of ther plant off in the 3rd wk of flower than in 2 months posts when will it be dona and shows a picture of a 6 ft plant with 2- 1 inch FATTY colas like yea this rocks

all i can do is give my 2 cents worth from my experences and let them take it from their.
