This is my first grow. They have been doing great so far. I have had a couple of hick ups hear and there but still doing great. The smaller one is the same age as the bigger one. She just got stunted for a little while cuz my son tor the leaves off in week 2 of seeding.

Will start flowering next week and I will be ScrOGing too.

Anyway any opinions would be great so just tell me wat u think.

They look good man -- they're nice and green. That's some really tight nodal structure there. I'm not sure a scrog net would be necessary for plants that small though. -- a good super crop down the meristem would get you where you need to go. Good luck man.

I think you will be benefit more from LST than SCROG. What size pot are you in? Is that the final pot? How much height are you working with?

I've been doing some LST. Still new at it so not 100% on how to do it. It's not the final pot. I'm gonna transplant into a 5 gallon bucket tomorrow. I'm using a 50*50*78 grow tent.

what type of light are you using? and they look healthy just a bit too small for scrog, try adding more light and what are you feeding.them with? what strains are you working with? wait a bit longer before you flip them! good luck (:

I think flipping 12/12 would be a big mistake. If you are going to a 5 gallon, then don't be impatient. You should at least at a minimum top each top once, if not two or three times. With a 5 gallon pot you have plenty of soil to veg her for a long time. I'd let it veg close to 6-8 weeks or even more. More tops + longer veg + 5g pot, should provide a really good yield.

The meristem is just the main stalk of the plant. You could flip to flower if you want -- the yields won't be great because the plants are small but if you decide to do that, I would keep them in the pot that they're in -- from the pics, a 5 gallon is way too big for those little ladies at this point and time IMO. If you want to transplant into 5 gallons, I agree with triple and xtranger, you need some more veg time and some more light.

How much longer do you think I should veg

Unwine is right dude. If you are determined to flip in a week, don't transplant to the 5g pot. I highly recommend vegging longer though. If it was me, I'd top your two tops, wait a week, transplant to the 5g. You can veg 1 month per each gallon, so you could in theory veg her up to or close to 5 months. But probably 2-2.5 months would be good. Like I said earlier you have plenty of space in your grow room and plenty of soil to have a big plant in the 5g pot. Don't waste it. I know its your first grow, you wanna start flowering, but you will be disappointed in the result of you flip now. Hope this helps.

Well thanks for all the advice it really helped. I'll let them veg for a few more weeks. Gonna bump my lights from 250w to 550w. So that should make a difference.

Any tips on transplanting. Any easy way or better way so I don't put my girls through a lot of stress.

Don't SCROG, just grow them like a normal plant. SCROGging is an advanced technique that takes experience with these plants to do right. Get a few grows under your belt, SCROGging doesn't make your plant yield a whole bunch more than just a normal grow does anyway. Fine tuning your grow regimen will be more productive.

Whoa whoa whoa -- 250 watts and 550 watts of what kind of light? Cfl's? Are you growing in a tent and if so what are the dimensions? I veg for a full 8 weeks under 5 cheap,4 foot, $10 fluorescents from walmart -- $70 total with fixtures plus bulbs. And I have trees by week 6 -- here's a look: https://www.rollitup.org/t/grow-chop-dry-cure-repeat.852792/

It is a cfl grow. I've kept the lights as close as posible the whole grow. I figured that's u its so small and compact. I never let her stretch.

I keep a spare pot of whichever one my plant is currently in. Then just take your 5g pot fill it with some soil. Then take your smaller pot and put it in the 5g and continue filling with dirt, this will make a mold. Make sure you compensate for the height difference. Remove the spare pot and you have the perfect shape to transplant your plant. Spray the inside of the mold/soil of the 5g pot before you actually transplant. After transplant, water. Donzo. Hope that helps.

Gotcha -- I'm not too familiar growing w/ cfl's so I'm not exactly sure how long it'd take to grow a decent sized plant but if your space will accommodate, some better lighting would speed things up exponentially. That's all I got. Good luck bro -- it's lookin good -- bet you can't wait to taste some of that home grown cheebah. :leaf:
