Hey, the pH is very high, I am trying to bring it down. Its at like upwards toward 8. I use a 400W HPS lamp. The soil is a soiless mix. I germinated first

You say it is a soiless Mix. Well even Miracle Grow is soiless Mix. They take chipped up Bark and wood and mulch it and a little of this, a little of that and sell it to people as Organic Potting Soil. I still can not understand why more people on this Forum do not use CoCo. It is About impossible to screw up.

I planted three white rhino seeds in potting soil with perlite under a 400W hps lamp. I am charging my camera as I will post pics soon, but they are three weeks old and still basically a seedling, they should be big by now. The leaf tips are turning yellow and brown. What should I do?
hey man could you tell me how to post pics?
thanx happy tokin

Go to the "go advance" link rather than quick reply. Then go down until you see "manage attachments" then a window will pop up allowing you to add pictures from file to your post. Good luck

Most of the pet stores around where i live sell it as a brick for maybe frog bedding. Its compact and the size of a reg. brick. Just add water wait 25 min and do a little breaking up and you have a nice soil! Then you can add whatever else you want to it to make it your own mix but its a nice base!

You can get coco at a pet store as a brick and you just add water and it makes a good bit of "soil"
problem with the Bricked CoCo is that it has not been washed. So if you use the bricked CoCo, Rinse it out really well with 6.0 PH'd water, Some people even add a little CalMag to the rinse water. I use Canna CoCo myself. But I did use the brick Coco a few crops ago and it worked very well also, just more work.

Just wanted to stop in and let everyone know I appreciate the great help and advice. I never would have thought so many strangers are willing to help someone they don't even know. Here are the most recent pics, I just took them a minute ago. They are finally growing again. Let me know if you know anything about the leaf edges curling upward. No idea what this means. Thanks again for all the advice.
