If you can get more light in with them, try and keep the blue spec down, try and add a yellow red.10 g per plant, looking at the plants has they are that should be do able but you really should be aiming for a lot more per plant, great to hear someone that is not going on about getting massive yeild's when they very first start out,hps lights are not that exspensive to buy now also the in let and out lets are not ,i would always suggest on getting the room keyed in before adding any plants, its hard but i just wish i would have done this from the start,i did some crazy things years and years back from sunbeds,to a door covered in cfl's the cfl one was brilliant the sun bed one was but,if i would have just done more re search then something like a t5 to start of would have done me ok,in the future i really want to do a t5 grow from start to finish, all my vegging is done under a t5 ,straight from the t5 veg box i custom built, into the flowering room under 2 x 600 hps cool hoods, but make sure that the temps are good,ya don't have to worrie if you get decent out let i use a 12" out let that pulls air through the filter then straight through the lights and out of the room, inlet 8".but if you are only running one 600 hps then a 6" out let 4" inlet will do fine, but i would try and get a cool hood ,even a cool tube just for the first one then upgrade to cool hood after the first one invest a small amount of the bud into getting the room sorted
Also look into building a room if you can, rather than a tent tent's seem to run to hot.I have tried them but all ways struggled with the temps, the room that i have at a friends at the minute is that well built that the land lord has been in the room several times and has not once noticed the room. Its a stud wall with a mirror added so when you look at it just looks like a mirror on a wall, its seved us really well just plaster board and foamed, makeing sure its air tight and light tight,But if a tent is the only way then run with that till you sort something else out
