thought of it my self...my first attempt of a self supporting scrog failed,it hermied on me...still nice buds on there tho,,,,check it out....only three colas seeded,,rest looks fine,,,just wanted a way spread the one good female I had left...build that big ring,,,made from the heavy wire you see right there on plant..bent it,,zip tied it together,,,its jus laying on that outside layer of colas,,,holds it down nice...didn't want mess with it that much....but idea paid off big time....check it out......GROW BIG!OMG! That cannot be one plant? I keep seeing these rings for support. Some look like they are just suspended in the plant and not tied down or planted while others clearly have a planted solid foundation. Not that my little late seedlings will ever get that far, but I am still curious how they are constructed. Haven't read or seen much about them.

I use bamboo steaks and zip ties to lst my plants.... don't want to put a cage around it because it restricts how far you can open her up....

You sir have done your homework. Very well done. That girl's a fucking beast. To gauge the harvest window pay attention to the trichomes. Wait for 20% amber 75% cloudy 5% clear - roughly. I'd say about two more weeks +/- .

that was first one.....2nd grow in flower now..room packed with photos an autos....2nd grow, first auto done..vertigo, 57 days...GROW BIG!
