$300 Budget grow tent HELP

Okay so i need a list of stuff to buy for a grow tent setup for $300
I already have a light as a start it’s a P600 95W Viparspectra. i know it’s not the best but it’s a start till i can save up for a way better light.
I’m wanting a 4x2x5 Vivosun Tent, or a 5x2x6.6 Tent
What Fan and filter can i use in that?
Also i’ll need some money left over for Nutrients PH meter. Some clip on Fans and other small stuff i’ll need.
I was hoping this list here would work

This is all i have so far

I think your going to need a bigger budget. Also that light will probaly only just do a 2x2 area.
right now i’m only wanting to do 1 plant i’m doing this to learn. i will be getting more stuff along the way, and upgrading my light. in the future i’m looking at a SolarXtreme® 250 or a Kind LED X40 or X80 but i’m wanting to start with 1 plant to learn like what nutrients i need. how often i need to water and just stuff like that.
for right now will that Fan and filter work in that size tent with the 1 plant?
i decided in the 4x2 Tent btw

Fair enough if I was you tho just try not to get that 1 plant to big you will want it to finish at around 2x2.
As for nutrients for hydro or coco most 2 part nutrient lines will do the job well enough, I don't know much about nutes for soil tho.
Yes that fan and filter is more that enough for that tent. I think I have a fan that looks exactly the same as that in my cupboard just different brand name an if it's anything like mine even turned all the way down it will be rather loud keep that in mind if your going to be sleeping next to the tent or something.

That fan and filter will be plenty good for that 4x2 tent. I use the 4" VivoSun fan and filter setup in my 4x2x5 and it keeps up.

Not sure about your choice of future upgrade lights. I would go with so many other options for around $1-1.50 a watt for kickass QB lighting but that's me. Strip style. HLG 288 kits maybe. HLG 144's 75W panels (if they still stock them?)
The strip style are handy in those short tents to maximize overhead space.

Those lights probably work well, the SolarExtreme. Not gonna knock them. I would just consider more compact options in that tent.
I would avoid Kind LED blurples though, I did a Google search and I came across old school LED tech and I would recommend you avoid it, especially for the prices they want. Damn.

Anyways good luck with your first grow

You already have a light and you plan on doing one plant , I’d get this and run both lights . No reason to have a big tent if you only plan on one plant . Just my opinion
Yup I agree with that - put more of the budget into the light to start with, do the smaller tent. If you wanna go bigger than you could use this for a veg tent and buy a bigger set up for a flower tent and do a perpetual grow

If you can spend the extra cash , either one of these would be nice . More particular to the spider farmer , I’ve heard great things about them . But either one is more powerful than the MH600 , and than you have a blurple to throw on top . It’s really a win win . And you’re a first timer , no reason to go nuts off the rip . Get you’r feet wet man .

Considering your budget, don't waste money on a cheap pH meter. Buy a simple litmus kit to test your water pH. Never needs recalibration and way cheaper than a good pen.

A taller tent is easier to maintain temperatures in.
A bigger tent gives you room to move and a bit of space for run off jugs, fans, dehumidifier, heaters etc + temperature is easier to maintain.

I use a 5x5 with a 600w hid for the two reasons stated, theoretically a 600w isnt big enough for a 5x5 but I find it benificial.

It's always cheaper to just buy the parts separately...

quictent 24 x 48 x 78, $95
6 inch booster fan 240CFM, $24
25 feet ducting, $20
2 X 6" ducting clamps, $5
4 inch to 6 inch reducer/ expander, $10
4 x 16 Carbon filter 400CFM, $50
2 x 9 inch 3 way turbo fans, $30, 1 fan for the floor, and the other for between the light and the canopy.
1 x cool mist humidifier, $32
1 x humidifier controller, $15

total $281.00

And for me, if you cannot afford a good pH meter just buy a cheap one, but calibrate it before every usage. And you can get a ppm/ec meter and pH meter combo for like $15 or $20, and while I now have a nice hanna, I still got a few of them cheap YELLOW ones with a calibration screw in the back that are many years old, that still work good if I calibrate them

would the same fan work for the 5x2x6.6 tent then?
I think a 6” would have you covered, 4” would probably do it for a 2x2 tent with one plant running led, but 6” gives you the ability to go to a bigger tent without needing a bigger fan
The cheap 6” fans won’t be as quiet tho... you could buy a better 4” fan if noise is an issue

Zenhydro.com you can build a 3x3 or 4x4 for 300 pretty easily.

8in duct fan for exhaust $15
6in duct fan for intake $11
Ipower tent 3x3 or 4x4 $60-$70
Light 400 or 600w ipower hps/mh $100

I would save a few bucks and drop that to a 4" fan and filter, would be more than enough for a 4x2 space. I use one in a 4x4 and it is perfectly fine. It will be louder than a good 6" likely but should save you a few bucks. You could just use drops for PH, much cheaper at around $6 for a test kit. You already know your light just isn't great so that's good.
