You couldn't be more wrong, CFL is much less efficient than HPS.
The reason they don't use HPS in household lighting is because the Colour rendering index of HPS is around 25, it's much too yellow.

CFL is at most around 12% efficient while HPS is 20+% efficient
If you seriously think CFL is more efficient than HPS then you're uneducated

If you don't have time to do fucking research don't give fucking bullshit claims.
You only have to look at the lumen/watt to come to the conclusion that HPS is much more efficient than CFL.
HPS has up to 150 lm/w, CFL only 70 lm/w or so.

Kill yourself you imbecile.

You're not seriously thinking HPS is the same as incandescent are you?
That's the only reason I can think of why you think those numbers are wrong.

HPS is more efficient than CFL, that's a fact.

It's not a difference of opinions, you're simply ignorant.

Appreciate all the information given dudes its been much appreciated but dont get into shit with each other over opinions, i respect what you're both saying. CFL is more for a smaller closet type grow rather than the tent size i'm using so id really have to invest big moneys on 300 watt CFL i'd have in mind.
Check out my other thread though guys need some help with SCROG and Defoliating, not getting much luck with any comments! would really appreciate the inputs and will give a nicer idea of my spacing :peace::peace::peace:
