thanks. no, no ac but 3 vortex 6" inlines (1 drawing from under the house...COOL air, 1 kicker b4 the air heads into my lights and one on a board on the wall exhausting outside) to keep my lights cool and u can put ur hand right on the glass after 24 hrs or continuous use. i have a heavy duty dehumidifier and a big(36") moutain air carbon filter attatched to an 8" vortex exhausting outside as well so that keeps things cool too. cooling isnt my prob though my climate is pretty cool and my grow is covered by trees so the room gets very little direct light. i have a bigger issue keeping the room warm enough in off cycles (shouldnt during the summer) im worried about winter.
Is your room outake on a thermostat?? and does your dehum kick out heat? I vent room to room and then out. It keeps both my rooms warm. Works well in winter and cold climates. good for flip flop situations

No to both questions. The dehumidifier is a stand alone unit that I have to empty a couple times a day. The room is heated by the lights for the most part, although during veg we had a little space heater to compensate for the lack of lumen's. There was a lot of trial and error getting the temperature and humidity to where it needed to be, but now it's pretty dialed in. Next winter I plan on buying and using a Vortex heater to maintain the rooms temperature. Also, I would love to have the room on a thermostat, but that might need to come at a later date.

Did I mention that I got my first power bill that included a full month of running the grow room? Our average power bill is typically around $150, and this past month it jumped up to $217. I was actually expecting it to be much higher.

Yea a thermostat prevents temp flucations when the lights go off. And depending on your insulation that might keep your room warm for 12 hours. A dehum will keep it warm. Just plug your fans into the thermostat. I use oilfilled thermostats like cruisetemp. set for 27c. turns off at 25c so your room wont drop low. good luck!

Don't worry. It'll get higher.

I don't know why it would. The first month was basically 24/7 or 18/6....Now we're on a 12/12 schedule until harvest.

Day 21 of Flowering

Here are some close up pictures of the budding.

This ak def has "damage" but its isolated to the spot you see in the pic. This was getting mh light. Is it light or nute burn? (first plant on right nearest camera in the pics below so you can see where its at in relation to the hanging mh)

These are some pics that I have some questions about. Is the yellowing through the under fan leaves normal at this stage? Or is this some kind of nutrient issue? we had an equiptment malfunction and the girls got an elevated ph feeding (8ish) we flushed for 2 days and fed them a light dose of dr. repair.

And here is just and aerial view.

And a frog from our roof. It ended up eating the fly.

Thanks Spikeweed, it's a total learning process. Do you have a journal?

Also, here is a picture from one of the corners. They are getting pretty big.

Wow man! Looking really really good. Wouldn't be to worried about the leaves...day 21 might be a bit early to start yellowing, but its definitely a natural part of aging as they come along. Your room is what I aspire for lol. Props.

The yellowing is pretty normal for the stage of flowering you are in. The plants are using up their stored nitrogen and will naturally yellow somewhat in flowering. It usually happens to the lower, older fan leaves that dont tend to get much light. The other damage to the edges of your leaves on the AK looks like wind burn from the fan to me. Dont worry your plants are healthy and it looks your you are having fun. Keep up the good work!

thanks for the responses guys. ya most of the yellowing is in my lemon drops and seems to be mainly on the big fan leaves under the canopy. i figured it was just normal but it just showed up in conjuncture with a malfunction in the watering system so it made me alittle uneasy. ill post some "kiddie" bud porn later tonight (is that distasteful? lol)

Beautiful. Very, very nice. You've inspired me to expand.

Edit: I'm still finding it hard to believe that you're not an experienced grower.
