Thanks for all the info bruddah

my question now is, where is all you N and K in their diet?

Does it come with the fish bone meal?
I noticed you nutrients are very high in P but low in N and K
I usually try to do the opposite...
Are those nutrients fast acting? Like readily able to be absorbed by that plant?
Or do they have to "cook" for a little bit and be processed before the plant can take em in?

Im not 100% sure about the anwsers im about to give you lol. They seem to be very fast acting, i notice the effects within 24 hours or less. I was told these are geared for mj and have asked the same question about N and was told it has plenty. And I cant say i have ever had any yellowing that would indicate N def. i do let them sit in a bucket for an hour or so, so that the ph can level out, although it rarely changes much. Next time im up there ill shoot the question out again and see what they offer me as to how they pack enough n into these.

4/17/2013 - Day 21 - End of Week 3

Plants seem to be doing well, looking extremely healthy. I wish the back row of Kandy Kush were putting on more weight but they are slacking. However the OG is still a champ and looks like its at 4 weeks + Also the purps is doing damn good also. Soil PH checked out pretty acidic so that may be an issue locking out calcium, I'm upping my nute Ph mix to 7.0 to try and gain a little PH and my soil.

All 3 Strains are pictured here: OG is in front left, KK From left, OG Far Left, Purps Far Right.

So I got an answer back on the low levels of potassium and nitrogen. They use chelators that are designed to fix many elements into a calcium molecule so it can be brought up by the plant. And also rely on microrizzael activity of 3 major fungal spores to break down material in the soil. With this method there is ample nitrogen and potassium available to the plant IF there is a functioning fungal and microbial beneficial microorganism environment. Pretty cool stuff. However they did point out an issue with me and that issue is that Im using fox farm soil which has high levels of iron. Iron is prohibitive to microbial life and can also be toxic to the plant when its being broken down my the fungal system because of such high levels being released. This will have to be changed next round.

Thats interesting man...
About the iron in fox farms though.. Would the iron still affect microbial life after the 30 day period of no fertilization?
Im thinking that once you need to fertilize with your organic nutes that there will much lower levels of iron?
Maybe lower levels of microbes.. but those you can add to the soil or will rebuild on their own with those organic nutes..
I mean you have pretty clean plants I dont see nutrient deficiency at all really. So maybe if I was you I dont think I would change soils despite what the hydro guy is saying...

How are they looking now???

4/21/13 - Day 25 Week 4

They are looking pretty good. The way Im understanding what hes saying is that the microbial and fungal life that organic nutes are promoting is breaking down the soil from veg to harvest, he said its a very unique way of doing things. But I have seen results from others using the same exact nutes, so I dont think hes feeding me any BS. Anyways they are still looking great. He recommended I flush heavy every weekend with bone meal and a carbon sugar nute, Which I did last night and Ill tell you what they are bulky today. Here are a few pics. couldnt get them snapped before the light went on.

Here are the smaller KK in the back still not as plump as the mothers I put into flower that are in the 10 gals.

How do you train your clones?
ive been debating a few different ways...

I'm going to be giving them 1-2 months of veg time before flower in 2.8ish true gallon pots. Then when trained and ready to flower, up canning to 5 gallons

ive never trained before, just always ran 16 single cola plants, 1oz dried weight per.

any advice?

Usually I start just LSTing my clones at about 1-2 weeks after they have rooted. This time for experiment I'm trying topping them. They have 3-4 main stalks coming up right now in my fresh clones, I can grab some pics at 6pm. THe batch that is going right now. I started LSTing at about 2-3 weeks in and made sure the lower branches were exposed to the light as much as possible, they turned out fairly nice and as you can see gave me a pretty level canopy.

shoot some pics man...

i got six clones that I can do anything I want to with right now to experiment.

I think im going to top one above the second node, and top another at the 4th node, and just lst one to see which one responds the best.

The other three I cant top or anything cause they have alternating nodes:(

Friedrice - I FIMed a couple this time I took a bunch of pictures so you can see what I do, keep in mind the ones that are topped and fimed are expierements. All the ones that are budding now were done by LST, like the big plant in the pics you are about to see. Let me know if you have any questions.
