Final Weight:

-Purple Kush: 274g

-Super Lemon Haze: 281g

-Platinum OG: 257g

812g = 29oz
812g/1200w = .68gpw

Ok, so I fell a bit short of my 2lb goal. But, my gpw is way up from last time and the bud quality is so much better. Without any sort of cure, this bud is getting me higher than my last crop's 3-4month cure that I just finished up. Bud porn, hash porn, and official smoke reports to follow soon.

Looks great! 18g of oil - yikes, that'll last you a while. :) Buds look great - still waiting on smellevision though. I really want to pinch a few of those and hold em up to my nose.

Thanks guys, sorry for not updating, I just haven't gotten my camera into the rooms in a bit. I guess that means an update is in order for today.

So I've spent the last couple days battling root aphids. 2 plants first, starting drooping severely overnight. The next day, I found the bugs on the roots of all 7 Tahoes, worst on 2(one of which was already 1/2 the size of the rest). I lost the runt, and about 20% of plant matter on another, but ultimately was able to seemingly wipe them out. Treatments included: h2o2 bath followed up with heavy treatments of Azamax, rosemary oil, Pyrethrin spray, Bayer tree and shrub, spectracide triazicide and extra ewc tea every day. After about 3 days I changed my res again, this time with bayer and spectracide in much smaller quantities, and regular ewc doses at increased frequency(every day). Another 2 days like that and I changed the res to nutes, higher ewc doses again, and top spraying azamax, pyrethrins, and rosemary oil. It's been about 3 days I think, and I continue to alternate spraying azamax, rosemary oil, and pyrethrins every day. The girls suffered largely, and aside from the lost plant matter, I did lose about 5-6 days of bud growth right in the middle of week 7 so I'd guess I lost probably 20% of my harvest total. :-( But to be optimistic, there was a 4-5 day period where I believed that an entire crop was lost.

So onto the good, we're about 2 weeks from starting the chop I believe.

Scrog veg day ??. Undergrowth will be trimmed in the next couple days, planning 12/12 in around 3 weeks. Again, center 4 are Vanilla Kush, 3 on either side are Platinum OG.

Oh, and fck getting those retarded t-shirts you'll never wear hahah. Got me a sweet as mug for about $.65 more!DSC02398.jpg

I'm happy to say I'm 2/2 with the tude, orders delivered within 7-10 days both times(west coast) and I ordered during promos both times, both were run on weekends, so they did a good job getting all the orders out first thing monday/tuesday I guess. Though I have to kind of bitch, I've emailed both times about switching the ufo freebies and got no response the 1st time and a straight up "no" the 2nd. No big deal to me really it would just be nice to get something I choose, I got 11 seeds and only bought 6. (Not pictured above is Delicious Seed's La Musa. It's the only one I'm not cracking because I don't want 2 autos at once, and I want to run the blueberry 1st).

Sucks about the bugs but glad you got it under control. I'm temped to warn you about Bayer's systemic pesticide. I was actually talking with one of the people responsible for its development yesterday and it was surprising to hear how against the stuff he was - especially considering I was about to buy some :( Granted we eat it everyday, to which he stated there's likely little or no negative effects on the body as the levels are so low in the majority of food crops - but he made a big stink about how different the treatment amounts were between ornamental application and field application; a difference of 1-2 ppb in food crops compared to as high as 550 ppb in ornamentals (half the dose needed to kill a bird). So I guess just be careful with the stuff. I"m just realizing that you perhaps used a non systemic bayer product, if so I apologize about all this hehe.

I'll definitely have to order a mug next order - we use a ton of mugs but I don't have much use for a "Supply the pot demand" t shirt :) Super curious as to how the Yumbolt cross turns out. Yumbolt use to be my all time fav strain till it disappeared on me several years ago.

Yeah I did a good amount of reading about the ingredients, effects, etc. The bayer is in fact a systemic, the reading I did (and the label, go figure) recommended at least 21 days prior to harvest before last use on crops. And believe me, I'd prefer not to put this shit in my plants at all, but I used it at recommended doses for a couple days, over the recommended timeframe before harvest, so while I'm sure its not the best thing to do taste/health wise, I'd rather have a slightly harsher smoke than no smoke at all. And FWIW, the patients this goes to were all informed of my decision to use it and given a say, none wanted me to lose the crop.

Now that the bugs are under control (fingers crossed) I use the systemic outside on my ornamental trees and am only spraying rosemary oil, pyrethrins, and azamax LIGHTLY on the surface of my hydroton.

Tahoe OG are all chopped! Spent the last few days doing nothing but trimming. The yield doesn't look to be anything fantastic, but the smell is phenomenal and these are the stickiest buds I've grown yet. I'll take dry weight in about a week, and I'm holding off until about 2 weeks of curing to test it so a smoke report will come then. Moby Dick will be coming down in the next couple days. :leaf:

The terminal buds were all like that, but the entire 18" branch before it was usually just a leafy vine with small buds every 3-4". Next time I'll be lollipopping more aggressively.

Also, I decided to go back to soil for the summer. I was struggling to keep water temps below 70, it usually sat around 72-73. With the heat coming, I'm not confident I'll be able to maintain it all summer without a chiller, and decided that I'm not doing any half-rushed upgrades until I decide what I'm doing long-term (UCDWC as of right now, but I need to plan out air conditioning/water cooling capabilities, wattages, etc etc) I don't care to grow exclusively Tahoe, and I didn't have any other mothers ready to give out 8 clones for another hydro run. So now I get to run alot more strains and hopefully have a more conservative, but less problematic grow. Meanwhile, I'll be raising my Sensi Star into a mother so I can have pre-vegged clones in a RDWC to flower as soon as this summer soil grow is over. Timing a perpetual is a bitch...

Here's the list:

Sour Cream
OG Kush
Tahoe OG
OG13
Sour Jack
Madness
Blueberry Gum
White Widow
Yumboldt

And of course the Platinum OG and Vanilla Kush in the scrog, which will be flipped to 12/12 next Sunday. I'll snap some pics tomorrow.:leaf:

Not sure if I mentioned, only 2/4 WWxBB germinated. After a few back and forth emails with Female Seeds, I should have replacements being shipped this week. Not happy about the bad germ rate, but I cant complain about my first ever response to a non-germinating seed. Meanwhile, G13 could apparently care less about my Blueberry Auto, and both Eva and Dinafem didn't respond when their seeds didn't germ last run, despite numerous emails. So +rep for Female Seeds customer service.

Looks great. Where did you pick up your Yumbolt? I'm very jealous - one of my favorite strains but I haven't seen a cut of it around in ages.

Gas - It's actually a Yumboldt x Critical from Dinafem. Pretty excited to try it, been hearing alot of good things.

FM - I have a 3-in-1 for my lights and 3 6-in-1's for everything else. I'm only using about half of the outlets, but I like the convenient placement I have with 3. Just added another 20" box fan underneath today too lol. I think that makes it 7 total, I'll be adding another 2 small ones above the canopy when I put them into flower.I've been thinking about it as a hammock more than a few times. Unfortunately the only laying I get to do is on the floor underneath hahah.
