300w bulbs?

that just too much light?

been using 42w and 26 watt CFL. was at lowes..they selling, for 16 dollars... a big ol 65 watt CFL.. = to 300 watt...producing 6,000 lumens. That too intense?

THOSE LIGHTS DO NOT have ballasts

cfl's need ballasts to run and m ost have them built in... i did the same thing with one of theose 65w lights, it has NO ballast and is meant as a replacement for the out door lights

they will brak and not work!!

I would go into a lighting/hydro store and buy at least one proper high powered bulb with a built in ballast. You can use your other globes to hit the hard to get at areas on your plant. Max I can get is 130W so I have two plus a few smaller globes.

In my opinion you can't get enough light, don't forget with indoor growing you are compensating for the sun. Just keep an eye out for heat/humidity as light increases.

heh? i have one right now, cost 16 bucks at menards, its like the damn sun
