300w LED vs 1000w HPS Hydroton Drip Grow

When I went to flower, the buds started OK and looked great, but then nothing. No Yeild. Zippo, Nada... Maybe 1 oz compared to 5 or 6oz with HPS in my particluar set-up Please take my advise. I am now changing back to my 400W HPS. I really wanted to believe in this technology for the reasons well advertized, i.e., less power, cooler, no identifiable radiation signature... Based on what I learned I would use only for veg, but I'm not convinced it would be any better than cfls.

Ok here are some updates. I have just finished curing everything and i will have a side by side comparison MINUS 8 oz(4 oz from LED and 4 oz from the HPS. This is because I lost my job and had to pay some bills asap.

Weights:
Total: 514.6g
Led: 254.1g
HPS: 260.5g
Bubble Hash: 18.8g total

The HPS definitely won the weight debate but the buds on the LED were on average better looking, much more crystalized, and more dense than the HPS.

Again sorry for the late update. I will snap some photos shortly and update with those pics.

Well, the worst HPS grower around did a side by side "grow", and LED won!

I am going to use a 1000w Mh for veg of all plants.
For flowering I will have (2) 1000w Hps and (2) 300w LED GrowPanel Pros by Sunshine Systems. The flowering room will not be divided but the drain tables will be grouped according to light type used.

Those arent even finished flowering yet and are not included in the weights of the two side by side trays.

Each tray produced about a half pound each and that is only because i let the plants grow so tall. If i had a bunch of smaller plants that could better utilize the light, i believe i would have gotten around a pound per tray. But that is in theory only.

I got a half gram per watt of LED and less hassle, and less electricity bills.

I don't believe that the HPS won overall. Only the weight was better and barely better at that. I def am going to slowly add more of these LEDs to my grow room until i have enough to cover (6) 4x4 trays.

Almighty, did you really only get 260g from 2000w of HPS lighting? If so, I recommend you get an experienced grower to help you out, because even by beginners' standards, that is shocking. You really should be pulling at least 1000g from that setup. An experienced grower could easily yield 1200g. Something is not right here.

The plant does not want these UV rays to damage reproduction processes so it produces trichlomes. LED's have no UV and will never produce anything close to sticky icky. Not even close. No way no how no matter how much LED propaganda there is.
