So as with any of my journals please feel free to comment. I started my fifth organic soil grow. I use:
Apollo 400w adjustable digital ballast
Cool tube hood
2x can fan max 6" (max 334 cfm)
2.5x2x8 tent
Carbon filtration etc.
Organic fertilizers ( blood meal/bone meal etc) and premade super soil
Diatomaceous earth for bugs (only on top of soil) and bt bacteria as well for watering
I never use premade liquid ferts, my organics have always been amazing with regular fertilizers.
Ferts:
Bloodmeal, bone meal, worm castings, epsom, fish emulsion, kelp meal (liquid) and a new one Ill be trying: langbeinite (0-0-22)
Seeds: nirvana bubblicious and dutch passions outlaw
I have grown these seeds before in my last grow. Bubblicious gets enormous buds and outlaw gets POTENT buds. I am using simple plastic grow bags (5 gallon) and have been vegging about 70 days (from seed). I plan to flip soon after I get my overwatering adjusted and they also are recobering from a short amoujt of heat stress (kelp given).
The vegged girls are dense and only about 17" (bubblicous) and 20" (i started them in 3 gal grow bags). I pulled clones since these were my last seeds :/ i have always been very happy with my Dutch passion seeds, they are as good now as they were in 1999. their orange bud is VERY good.
I was running 400w in the tent but that much light and heat is just unecessary and harder to adjust temps in my region, even in flowering so I have it at 300w and the girls seem really happy with it (when not overwatered). I will be scrogging this run, and maybe lollipopping them as well.
I usually grow in open rooms but am trying a tent, ventilation was very finicky at first but after replanning everythings location with the scrubber in the tent at top it is cooling way more efficiently than the scubber outside the tent. This was required to get proper negative pressure and temperatures. (typically 75). Pics to post later. Thanks for stoppin by!
