Setting up a 2x4x6 tent and currently have a 220W QB. Growing 2x AK Auto. If I get another 100W will it be over kill in that tent? I just want to make sure I have enough juice for flower. Thanks.

I ran (4) qb120's on a 320 watt driver in a 2x4 for a couple runs. I don't think I ever ran it wide open, I adjusted it until the plants were happy. You'll be fine as long as you can dim your lights if needed :blsmoke:

320 watts is fine ... i run that at in said 48x24x72 .
Here is 420w ( QB96s 320w / SF1000 100w running supplemental duty ) .

If you can dim when needed you will be fine.

My current one is dimmable. I’m probably just going to get another cheap QB unless y’all have any better budget solutions.

320 w in a 4x2 would be around the upper limit for photoperiod flower and much too much if you're running autos on 18-24hr cycle. The only reason to put more boards in that tent is if you want to have better spread.
