There’s not a single Republican presently that I would support for any public office. Federal or state. The willingness to quickly bind together like fat and grease in a P-trap is all the reason I need. Trump must have unloaded in Graham’s mouth on the golf course to have turned him 180 in 18 holes. i honestly don't either, and neither does anyone else...the one thing i have learned about American politics is that it's impossible to predict what insane stupid people will do...and way too many insane stupid people are allowed to vote.

It's completely reasonable that the candidates with highest name recognition are leading opinion polls right now. Yet, I don't think that means people have made up their minds about who to vote for. There is a lot of water yet to go under that bridge before its time to choose. To me, it's perfectly sane to listen to what they say and watch what the candidates do for now.

that is not the insanity i refer to...allowing uninformed idiots to make one of the most societally important decisions possible is the insanity i'm talking about...voting should never have been referred to as a right...it should be a privileged that has to be earned. the opinions of idiots ought to count for nothing, because that's how valuable the "right" is to them...they make a decision based on popularity, on how a candidate dresses, on how a candidate voted on one of their pet causes, but they don't bother to look past that...

Nah, it's better this way. Imagine what Republicans would have done during their two years of filibuster-proof control of Washington if they could simply cut out dissenting voices from ever voting again. It's bad enough that they suppress voters the way they currently do without any remorse whatsoever.

Where did you get that? The policies he's backing are supported by the vast majority of Americans. That would be why he's so popular.
