3400 watts and a lady named Albert

I guess I would just say we are trying something new. It was also something recommended to us too, so we thought we would give it a shot. A big part of choosing one strain over multiples was that we could do some experimenting.
So you're 'over-clocking' your nutes, huh? Be careful. It could hurt final bud quality. It did to my Diablo.

My mother plant seems to be wilting in a lot of spots. Anybody know what this is?

Here is a picture of the wilting

Sudynim - My guess is one or more micro-nutrient deficiencies due to lockout. Are you tracking your 'Run-Off' PPM? What is the delta in PPM from res to run-off? I'd say flush well with 3x volume fresh solution @ 800ppm when unsure, and maybe adjust your feeding frequency/duration.

Alright, this is going to be a quick update. Karmic, I'll answer your questions in a bit, because I am in sort of a time crunch right now. Anyway, here are the pics.

A little close up. You can see that the sugar is coming in nicely.

Here's the veg room. We now have it running under an unsealed 1000hps. It's a little much, but the plants have grown a lot. We are going to add in another 250w of blue spectrum

@Karmic,
We haven't tracked our nutrient runoff, but since then we have increased the feedings and the mother has bounced back quite well. Honestly, the plant hasn't been on a real schedule yet and that has probably been hurting her. I think we have been too worried about the veg girls and the mother fell by the wayside.

@UnderCurrentDWC
As of the last picture, I think they were either 21 or 28 days of veg. Now that I think about it, right now they must be around a month old, but I would have to look at my calender to know for sure. Your roots look pretty fucking radtastic.

@mensabarbie
Thanks for watching. I keep checking in on your journal, but I am not a big poster.

@lordjin
It hurt your overall bud quality eh? How so?

I've had a hard time keeping up on this journal this past grow, but I think in the end it will be cool to see conciseness of it. We plan to start taking down plants next week, and maybe spread it out over a couple weeks. We have seen a few of those little herm banana formations, so it seems as though it should be go time. We're not really sure why these little herms are happening. Maybe it's an environmental issue, but we really don't know. Someone told us that it is a sign that the plants are done. I don't know if that's true, but at the same time we don't know why it's happening. Anyone else have issues with this? Other than that, the plants seem really healthy and vibrant. So here is the picture show.

From what I've read, Albert should always go 65-70 days. Try adding two greenish, yellow bananas lying at the base of each plant and replace them every 7-10 days. The ethylene emitted from the bananas will help retard the 'nanners'. I am guessing the nanners are from nutes getting too strong, but really hard to know unless you are tracking your runoff PPM, pH, Temps, etc...and charting them all.

Also, I wouldn't panic if only a few nanners down low; leave them and watch for your soma style fem seeds to appear. They would be Albert Walker Feminized. yowza.

Just thought I would give an update, so here it goes.
-We pulled the plants at day 50, although it was about two weeks early.
-The wet trim took three days with a lot of help.
-A week later we dry trimmed
-Ended up with 5lbs 4 oz
-Not a spec of mold
-Albert Walker is an amazing smoke.

We've already started our second round of Albert Walkers. They have been in the veg room for a while now, so we moved them over to the flower room. We are going to let them veg in there for a couple weeks before switching to flower.

Also, since the legal limit of mj you can posses here is 24oz (or 48 because we have two cards), we have been donating a lot to a local dispensary. They love it because it is such a rare strain. Apparently their customers love it too because they can't keep it in stock.

We want to keep producing AW, but we are also interested in other rare strains. Anyone have any suggestions on rare, but high yielding strains?

Here is a picture of what we have left.
