First off, what brand meter do you have. I am running an AF 20 with a Hanna trimeter and i have seen my meter go off the chart when i check them in the morning due to ph issues. For my system, when the ph seems to be out of the 5.7-6.3 range an increase in salt occurs from nutrient lockout which then increases the overall ppm. That along with the fact that water is being absorbed by the plants which lowers the res levels and causes a higher concentration of plant matter and salts. I would suggest that you monitor your ph religiously and use a liquid ph adjuster if you are not already. Also you will need to change you res water and another grower suggested using florakleen every 3-4 weeks. During flowering after the initial kleen wait until about a week before harvest to flush and use the kleen again. if you haven't already to safely clean your unit of nutrient and plant matter so that you will lower your chances of any problems during the later weeks of flowering. Also have you considered using different nutrients/supplemental nutrients? Lastly i would lower your tubes as low as possible and then even some more once the roots have started to show. You will also want to angle the laserline at a 30 degree angle and that will do unbelievable things.
i think the jump in pH had to do with poor circulation in the tent, and it created mad condensation..I removed 10gal from the res and replaced with 10gal of fresh r/o water.
I have the tubes as low as possible, and the laser line is bubbling the water at the bottom of the tube. im gonna flush the res again in 2 days, and add a stronger bloom mix to the res.
I have this bioclean stuff that i will clean the machine with after harvest.
what's everyones take on hydrogen peroxide?? I have some 35% stuff. or is there a product that i can add while the plants are still growing?
Dont wanna hurt my babies!!
