36"x20"x62" Yield?Nutrients?Inline fan position?

-What are my estimated yields from growing 5 autoflowers in 5 gallon containers? Will I be yielding about an OZ per sq foot if I am doing things right?

-Will it be okay to setup my grow tent in my garage with night temperatures reaching 50 and daytime temperatures reaching 60-70? I plan on lifting the plants inside or buying pink insulation to put on the bottom.

-Can I just use Fox Farm Trio as nutrients? Or do I need something like Cal-Mag? I was planning on following their schedule with just the trio. With the first week being 1/4 the dose, second week being 1/2 the dose and going to regular dosage from there.

-Also I think I lack space to hang an inline fan/carbon filter combo and hang my two lights... at the same time (36"x20"). Should I setup my carbon filter or inline fan to be outside? Is there a great benefit in keeping my inline fan/carbon filter inside the tent?

That tent size will be difficult to work out of with the amount of plants you want to grow. 3 ft of length and not even 2 ft of width is challenging to say the least. I won’t say it’s not possible, but challenging. Maybe moving down to 3 gallon pots would be easier. All other equipment is ok, just make sure to get a hygrometer. And as far as calmag is concerned, if you’re using distilled or RO water then yes calmag is needed, tap not necessary. You could place your exhaust outside the tent to help with the potential height issues, but I think it will work. I have that same tent but I use it as my seed/cloning nursery.

Also, that low of temp at night is pretty cold, might want to invest in a portable heater.

I did not really take the maintenance into consideration until I actually put the pots in the tent... I'm going to actually move the autos, that are in their first week, into 1 gallons. I was comparing 5 of my 1' tomato plants in the tent and realized it would be crazy.

I've been waiting on mephisto seeds. I'm going to put them in 5 gallon containers, just because they are better quality seeds. I'd like to see better results from these.

Total:
4- 1 Gallons
2- 5 Gallons

If you do ok, expect at least 5 oz. If you do great, you can get 8-12. Autos need no hiccups to produce top end yields. You can expect either 1-2 oz a sq ft, or 1-1.5 grams per watt. Depending on your skills. Again, any missteps, yields go down.

I challenge anybody here to get a lb off 5 autos in a less than 6 sq ft vert with only 216w lol....

Right, and that leaves at least 2.5 oz of smoke a month. Eventually switch to cloning photoperiods and you can bang the higher estimates out every 8 weeks... Same light, same setup. Just have to have an area for clones/mom. Literally can keep them alive with a only fluorescent.

That all said.. I'm gonna make a prediction and say that when you're done, you will wish all 5 plants had gone into 3 gallons. I was taught that 3 gallons are best for autos and that in general a gardener should assume 1 gallon per month of grow. Autos tend to max out at 3 months.

Hope this all helps!
