Yep, I'm interested in this topic too. Currently I use Reptisun UVB 10.0 T8 but would like to integrate some UV-B led in my new diy fixture. Would prefer stripes to place them between the boards. Any recommandations? Otherwise I have to install my T8

They seem to have a good array off UV wave lengths but I have no idea what diodes they are using & how efficient they are. Probably Epistars.
It would be nice to see a UV cob that ranges from 360 up to 410.

I looked at the wave lengths of the both mentioned chinese boards but none of them delivers UV-B (315-280 nm).
Both are nearly (the last one) or totally (the one linked by VegasWinner, 395-405 nm) out of range of UV-A. What should they be worth for?

But found some interesting led from LG Innotek (385 nm too). Unfortunately its not alowed to me here to post or link any URLs. I don't know why. Can anyone explain that?
Look at their site for UV LED. There is also a pdf catalogue with datas of all versions.
Some stripes or small boards made with them would be nice. But you will need a lot of these diodes. Especially if your distance is higher than a few inch. Perfermonce of the UV lights decreases enormous with some more distance.

Do you run it the whole day? I was thinking about adding some UVB T8, as it seems to be the easiest way. But I wasn‘t sure about the intesity and time frame..Yep, I'm interested in this topic too. There is no general rule than "be careful". I guess it depends on variety, kind of lamp and distance to the flowers.
I start at the beginning of the 3rd w before harvest. 20 minutes per hour for a few days (along 10h at daytime, not the first and not the last hour) for slow acclimatisation. After 3 days I give the ladies 40 minutes per hour (10 of 12 h) and the last two weeks I let the UV burn the whole 10h of a 12h run.
Products were never scientific tested just blind tastings by friends and my own. And nearly all mean the UV stuff is notable stronger. There is no increase in mass only in efx.
But that are my experiences with the Reptisun UVB 10.0 and they are really not the strongest in UV output and penetration. You have to hang them pretty near the plants, distance around 6-10". There are other, much stronger ones, you can't drive the whole time without burning the plants or you have to respect the distance.
But there is hope for high effective led!
