37 days into flowering and now this!!Need help figuring it out.

I have a flood and drain system with a 400w hps light, I use general hydroponic nutes, the ph is kept at 6 and thet get fed 4 times a day during the light cycle for 10 min. Is this the normal yellowing during flowering or should I be worried? :wall:

Inthe first pic you can see that the tips of the plants starting to burn( nute burn?) but what ever it is its happening to the other plants as well.

Im groing in soil and my girl has been flowering for 28 days and my problem looks similar to yours and im trying to figure out whats wrong as well. just wanted to know if our problems look the same. this problem just started for me and doesnt look as bad as yours yet but i dont want it to get bad at all sorry for posting in your thread like this. hope you dont mind.

If that isn't nute burn I'd die of shock.

Read the sticky's on the top of the forum there are lots of pics there to compare it too.

Back the nutes off and the undamaged parts of the plant should be fine.

Argentino I'm not really sure your problem looks the same - especially as it doesn't appear to be contained to the leaf tips.

The OP is almost certainly nute burn - and the way he describes his grow it is kinda the only conclusion I think one would reach.

lower ph to 5.6-5.8, whats your medium? lower nutes as well, i'd run just water ph'd @ 5.6 for a day or three. how often do you check your ph?

I check it every day, the medium is hydroxen(clay pellets). I have yet to flush the girls,,Is that the normal amount of time a flush should last?

All these posts and not one focused at the real issue, the NPK values of the plant food. My best guess is not enough N.

Are you screwing them up with "bloom" foods?

Tomorrow is the day I normally change out the res( 10 gallons) and give them fresh nutes, I just add 4 gallons of ph'ed water to what was left of the nutes in the res, trying to dilute the nutes till tomorrow.

Yeah, considering it's leaves that produce bud, I'd be worried. You been blasting them with some cockle mainy bloom food, haven't you? What is the NPK value of the foods you've been using? Knowing GH and their lame plant food design issues, you don't have the right NPK values to sustain healthy leaf retention. Recommend one part Dyna-Gro.

Don't worry about pH adjusted water unless it is totally wacked out.

Just asked my girl if she added some super thrive to this last batch of nutes without me knowing,,,,she said she did,but only the amount for what we have.So is that considered bloom food. I have it because I was trying to save another plant I had going but it was to late.

Npk of the florabloom is 0-5-4, floramicro is 5-0-1, floragrow is 2-1-6, none for superthrive.

Superthrive is not a food, it is synthetic auxin product with vitamin B1. You don't need it.

You're evading the issue. I'm trying to help. What are the NPK values of the foods you've been using? If you don't know, I recommend you don't bother until you understand plant nutrition. The revelation will help you in 2 ways - understanding what makes a plant tick, 2. understanding the unscrupulous cannabis specific plant foods biz. Both lessons well learned.

Uncle ben thanks for stopping by and giving it to me straight. I have read your treads and used your technique for getting a 4 cola plant, unfortunately she died but what a sight she was. So how do I fix this problem,,,will a flush work?

I think the General Hydroponics stuff is pretty tame with the NPK values - like 0-5-2 or some such for the flowering mixture (at least the one they sell at the grow shop I usually go to) . . . but FOUR feedings a day seems like it might be a bit over the top . . .

All has gone great till this point,check out my journal and you'll see the buds I have growing. I have read alot about the times and length of feedings and this seems to work for what I have going.

37 days into flowering and now this!!Need help figuring it out.
