Update: 1 week into 12/12. plants stretching nicely. It may be wishful thinking but i think i'm starting to see what looks like flowers forming. Here is a pic.

i bought a plastic container at the grocery store. ( $5.00) a fish tank pump from walmart ($!0.00) a pool noodle from the dollar store ($3.00 go figure) i took my 1 1/2 hole saw, and drilled the holes in top of plastic, then i removed center bit from hole saw and in reverse cut plugs from the pool noodle and cut a slit in them like a pacman. i then painted the container flat black so no light could get in and then went back and painted white over it so it would reflect light. there you go. i have about $25.00 in it with paint included. Update: Week 3 of flower. Buds stringing down nicely. Started adding SWEET today. After next week i have a week of PK 13/14 then will start the Bud-XL. Here is a couple pics. let me know what ya think................

Yeah, I'm not exactly an OG at this. But I have been doing it for some time. And there's different sizes of tomato baskets. The only reason I use them is so after I top my plant at about 4", I take the two branches that grow off the tope and tie them down. then I let them go all the way around the bottom circle and then train them with a few zip ties as they grow up past the second ring. The baskets I use are only about 7" tall. and you shouldn't have a light any closer than that unless it's some cfl's or flouros.

I'm just more of a dude that has to resort to trial and error because of where I live. I don't have hydro stores or any of that around...lol Right now I'm doing a screen with organics. it started with the LST top and split I am speaking of, but I just tied these to the edge of the pots and then cut the ties after they got about 8" long a piece, all the side branches are what you see covering the screen. My bubba Kush got topped once, but the nodes were so tight, it's got 4 colas now since the second set caught up with the first...pretty awesome. lol



Notice the split in the main stem and then all the side branches that just grow up. you don't have to tie anything util the get through the screen and you just keep weaving under and over....I feel like scrogging is LST at it's absolute full potential, even though, technically you don't have to LST to have a scrog.
