3rd grow EVER - Strawberry Blue

I had 3 plants going (strawberry blue, emerald jack, grapefruit krush) but 2 were full blown males (not hermies) even though they were feminized seeds.

Regardless, the strawberry blue grew the best out of the 3. Grows very uniform from the start.

It is roughly 4-5 weeks into flower. Didn't really keep track of the days this time around.

33 inches tall and holding.

Started under a 400W hps but I bought a 600w mid flower so it has been under the 600w the past week. My next grow will utilize the full 1000w.

Setup is a 6 site RDWC but only using 1 at the moment. 35 gal res. and using Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Bloom.

Topped using Uncle Ben's method for 4 main stalks.




I probably won't update this too much more until harvest, but feel free to leave any questions/comments.

In other news, my next grow will be Female Seeds Bubblegummer.
I will have 10 plants, 4 under the 400w and 6 under the 600w, of which my goal will be to achieve 2oz a plant.

Got the seeds for my next grow. Ordered 3x 4 packs of Female Seeds Bubblegummer.
Got 2 freebies; World of Seeds Afghani Kush Special (fem) and Delicious Seeds Cheese Candy (fem).




Strawberry Blue has put on a little more weight since the last time I posted.

Finally have an MH bulb after 2 replacements, however I do applaud iPower's customer service.

Put my plant under the MH yesterday and I can definitely confirm increased trich size already.

I also noticed the plant has a blue hue today that was not at all there yesterday. Having "blue" in the name this is not surprising, but it does seem that the MH light initiated it. So that's something to think about.

My plant is also falling over from the weight of the bud. First time I have encountered this myself.

I got one of these going but it is still vegging. Yours look great! I hope mine comes out looking half that good. How's the smell? I heard that it was skunky...any truth to that?

Yea it does have an ambient skunky dank smell. Rub the trichs tho and you get a very strong citrus candy smell

Plant produced 5oz dry, my biggest/only single plant yield as of yet.
Also the only plant I've grown by itself and not crowded (SoG).
My last SoG AK48 grow produced 6oz in 2-3 weeks less time (12/12 from seed).

This Strawberry Blue bud is very dense. The pic of the bowl depicts all 5 ounces.
Smells like candy, maybe comparable to sweet tarts, with a hint of floral.
Heavy hitter. Half a gram to yourself will do wonders. Mostly body high (and that's with 100% cloudy trichs).
Taste? I don't fuckin know lol tastes like weed Good weed that is.

On another note, I topped all my Bubblegummers (link to new thread in sig), kept 4 tops as clones, and tried grafting one of the tops to my strawberry blue clones stalk.

Hi, beautiful plant and a healthy yield, will be stoked if mine turns out half as good. This is my first post and my first grow, strawberry blue from seed in soil under a 600 mh/hps switched to 12/12 today, its getting exciting lol, all going well so far thanks to invaluable info i've gained from this site. Quick ? how long did it take yours to finish? The seed bank mine came from said flowering takes 8-14 weeks which seems abit vague, how do i know/what should I be looking for in the plants to tell me there two weeks from finishing so I can start the final flush? Any help's appreciated, Thanks.

I believe mine flowered for about 8 weeks. It was harvested October 5th. I always try to harvest when the trichs are around 100% cloudy maybe a little amber. So I guess flush when they're mostly cloudy 90% or so, though that is personal preference.

Not much I can say about growing it. These plants are very easy to grow with minimal maintenance. You're definitely going to like the outcome.
