3rd grow first success

Hello, I'm coming up on a year of working on this and due to some self inflicted setbacks early on am only just now getting things together correctly. Currently I am growing only one strain what I believe is afghan goo, grew one from seed and have been cloning the rest. This strain clones like a beast! I'm using a 600 watt hps for the flowering room, low nutrients (approx 60% canna veg, canna flores) , fox farm soil, indoor. All comments are welcome and while I am keeping it a small grow for now (6 plants flowering at a time) I plan to increase it to 12 soon, and 24 shortly after that. Of particular interest to me is if anyone can recognize the characteristics of any particular strain, starting with ruling out afghan goo as that is what I believe it to be. They wont be ready for another month or so, but I can add some close up pics if people want to see more detail. Thanks for any input and for experiencing this process with me.

looking niced the little ones look like they need a fan on then for some strong stems but your ones that all most are down look nice so you must be doing something good

also if your looking for the type of plant you got its best to just google it i mixed up some seeds and fucked up when planting them form my seed oder then just let them flower out dry and cure
then took all the pics i had and started doing some research taste size yeild color smell found out i only had one mixed up was way easyer then i thought if you need help after this is down ill try just list the smoke and grow report good growing tho your doing nice for only your 3rd grow

also ifs not how many plants you got to how much you yeild with one 600 watt 24 plants would over kill it

i grow 4 plants under a 600 watt hps that i veg for 2 months yeild 298 roughly grams around 3 Oz per plant then i grow a 6 plant set all same strain got 288......
so now i just stick will 4 and treaat thhem good bc soon they will be good to me

Hey thanks for the comment johny! the ones in the nursery that are bent are intentionally so as i plan to bend my entire next 6 plant grow and see how that works out. Once I increase the number of plants flowering I will of course be adding more lighting, and the space is already divided in half by a temporary wall to focus the lumens. All I need to do is yank that wall and rig up another light and viola, space for 12-24 easily. As far as yield I expect 4oz+ per plant based on the experience with their grandmother that was from seed. They really really beef up right about this point in their lives.

you dont do much trimming of the fan leaves i see i like to do it for mine helps light get down there but not all the leafs i dont want to stress my girls into hermy haha

Yeah I only take a few here and there that are obviously causing issues.

yea thats how i start out but then i go over board to the end of flowering to make sure i got as much light as i can but that leaves them with less nutes to pull out the leafs like most peoples plants do so i dont no if im doing good or just hurting them lol

I start trimming them like crazy when I first start seeing amber in the trichs, I find it's easier than trimming them while drying or after cure. Here is a short vid from today almost 60 days in to flower.

They got too cold keeping the trichs cloudy for too long and many many headless.

Day 81

Too quiet in here, what gives ?? 87 days, a lot of healthy trichs but still about 50/50 cloudy and clear with 0 amber.

Day 88 of flowering

Day 88 already!? I feel like I missed so much...

Oh wel...I'm sticking around to see the harvest & smoke reports.

I chopped one down a couple weeks ago and it is curing now, about 3 ozs dried of purely head high, weak, short buzz. obviously immature but close. cut one yesterday too, all white trichs, much higher yield, 4 still flowering. Heavy cloudy trichs , hardly any clear but still no amber. Yeah, i'm working on more videos now that i'm almost done. Can only let these 4 go another week or two before they have to come down.. hopefully some amber by then!

What does it smell like? did you weigh it?

Sadly my sense of smell is pretty bad, and I can't weigh any of it yet because it is all drying or still growing other than the immature one I took down a few weeks ago. That one hadnt finished putting on size yet and was already 3 oz's. I'm guess 4-5 oz per plant for the 5 I let go longer.

About one pound of strong smelling, smooth tasting bud. The buzz is strong at first, a very nice head high which then mellows into more of a couchlock over the next hour or two. I am very happy with it, it is very good for sleep, pain, and appetite.
