There are high amounts of acids in some of the organic ferts especially the liquid ones the acids will act the same way as salt does acids in high amounts will force your plant to absorb un needed nutes and wil lock up soil in the same way as salt dont get me wrong i use acids and or products with them in them in the righ amount humic acid is very beneficial
