3x3 400w grow tent

Ya the 6" does a good job in pressurizing the tent bringing air in as it exhausts, i have the intake in their tho to bring in cooler air from outside the closet, because its a few degrees higher in the closet.
Even with the intake tho theres still enough pressure inside to suck the sides of the tent in when zipped up.
Enough negative pressure*

I prefer to run perpetual if you have a separate veg area. In a 3x3, I'd have 1 Plant ready to harvest, 1 2 weeks away from harvest, 1 4 weeks from harvest and 1 that's 2 weeks into flower. As soon as 1 goes, another replaces it. Much more efficient use of space, plus you'd get a plant every 2 weeks, way easier to handle the trimming when it's not all at once.

Damn I have a 2x4 veg feeding (2) 3x3 for flowers now to get my three tent rotation. Wonder what your suggestion times two 3x3's would be like........

Same thing, x2... I actually have 2 separate 30x36 areas with another separate veg area as well. I try to keep it going at one harvest a week but some things take longer and some finish faster. It's tough to keep a strict schedule because I run different strains.
I also have an old gutted fridge with 150 watts of COB in it for when I have the veg area too crowded.

Too funny turning my closet tent into a spill over area soon just need to build the light lol....I too like to run different strains because it helps to keep me from building tolerances quickly vs smoking the same thing all the time.

Ya eventually i plan on doing that once i know more and have more experience about growing.

IMG_1169.JPG Would this be a good idea to get the bubbas that sprouted today to catch up in length to the others or is it just guna cause unnecessary lanky growth.
Also how far should my light be from my plants, ive read as close as possible but im not sure. Right now the hood as about 6" above tops at 200w mode, there is no heat in between the glass and plants going off my hand. Is this to close or are is the light a good distance for 200w mode

IMG_1175.JPG Veg Day 4
Whats going on guys heres a update on the plants on day 4 of veg. Going off of the day of the last seeds to sprout so some are a few days older.
They just got watered today, its their second watering sence they have sprouted. I have fed them 2.5ml per gallon of the bio root, half of the recommended dose.
Also the last 2 bubbas to sprout caught up in length to others so they are all at same distance from light and i turned light to 300w mode, they are currently about 10" from light, do you guys think this would be to close??

Good start!

If you give a plant to a friend it may come back to haunt you! You may be giving away the best genetics you have there! My friends keep giving me seeds and I do really well with them just to see my mates off lmao

Always give them an extra big pot to maximise the yield

Hard to tell which is the best at this stage. Sometimes the smaller shorter plants are stronger smoke, easier to grow, no height problems etc

They look happy! Just a bit of a waiting game whilst the roots develop. Go relax before the work load starts

That 3x3 and 400 watts is basically what I run. Same basic fan setup and all. (I use LED lighting).

My 3x3 tent will only hold 4 3 gallon pots.
I tried 5 and it was too much.

I fit 6, 3gallon smart pots no problems. In a 3x3 same exact tent as OP. I run perpetual though plants do not get too much veg time. The flower stretch is pefect for filling it in.

So you do 6 plants aswell and how long is your veg time before flower?

If im running from seed 3 1/2 weeks if from clone about two weeks give or take counting from the start of aggressive vegitative growth.
I havent toatally settled into my new house but soon I will only be running from clone. For now the hunt continues for keeper phenos. Right now Im running Reserva Privada Skywalker Kush, DNAs L.A. Confidential Cali Connections Tahoe OG and GSC. Serious Seeds Original AK47 and White Russian, DJ Short Blueberry and my own Strawberry Cough bred through a few generations..

Your running all 8 strains in the 3x3? You have any pics?
