I was thinking of running 4-600 watters in a single 4x8 tent. I'm using a 1000 watter on one side right now, but the light is TOO intense, and there are too many intense spots that burn the top of one nug a bit, while leaving the others a little more shaded than usual. I also ran into the problem of 7 feet long Blue Dreams in a 6.5 foot tent LOL! But I scrogged before flowering and was barely able to get the light far enough away after stretch for everything to be golden. But yeah, following one branch all the way across the show measures out to 7 feet long! My god!
I'm probably doing some shorter plants from now on. But yeah, if a 1000 watter on one side isn't too ridiculous, would 1200 watts on each side by absurd?
I was thinking for exhaust, I would for sure get 8" hood/cooltubes. A COUPLE 8" fans, one intaking from the windows, and one exhausting out. One intake from the window for my inline fan, until summer hits where that would be turning into an air conditioner.
But yeah, as of right now I have 1600 watts in one tent, and I'm getting away with heat just fine, but I am pulling 19 degree air in from outside to cool those beasts. The exhaust afterwards is still cool!
But theroretically, with cooltubes, and about 1400 CFM of air being moved from outside, through them, and then straight back out again, should not affect the environment at all, other than simply the heat eminating from the tubes? I see a 10-15 degree drop with lights out at night, but with the fan still dumping the exhausted air into the room surrounding the grow tent. And thats only with 440 CFM fans. I'm thinking the 8" fans will simply be overkill, and even in these 100 degree summers, with a good air conditioner, I should pretty well have a controller environment, shouldn't I?
Thanks guys!
