Haven't seen it done. Would be damn nice tho. What are the room dimensions?Anyone try doing this? Run 49w on each corner to bring ppfd up? Or maybe if you can angle them on the sides for deeper penetration? I can't afford to switch my entire setup but figure this is good start. Any real results with a setup like this out there?
I think its just you, but I don't have one. don't knock smd chips. the best newer ones are pulling some great efficiency numbers. Is it just me or did fluence go backwards from where bml was at. I've seen a few different videos of them in flower and they look pathetic almost all larf popcorn buds. All of the videos show what looks to be smd strip lighting. With what Cree and others are producing you would think they would have gone another route
44" is about 250$@PurpleBuz dont really know how to link videos. They're on you tube only a few videos show the new spyders. I've been looking into smd lighting for over a year now, getting help on this forum on the subject until recently has been next to impossible.
Plus I don't think a spyder bar around the perimeter of a thousand watt light would do much good. That and what are they charging for one light I can't remember but it's some serious cash witch was already stated bank1 doesn't have. I don't like cob chips but I think they would be a great option in this situation.
