4 lights staggered with 30 plants, or 2 lights on all the time with 15 plants

What do you think would produce a better yield?

Recirculating hydro, 8.5 ceilings, Gavita 1150 lights

Setup A: 2 tables, 15 plants on each table, 2 Gavitas over each table, (one gavita over each table is on for two hours, then they switch off while the opposite Gavita flips on) so it would be staggered lighting. The theory is that the plants with no light directly above it would be getting enough light from the 2 gavitas that are on.

Setup B: 1 table, 15 plants on the table, 2 Gavitas over the table, both lights on 12/12

Would setup A yield more? Would setup B have higher quality flower? Would setup A have airy buds?

Thanks for the input. I know it's a weird question.

Well my old setup had 4 600W HPS with 4 4x4 tables. 1 light per table and 9 plants per table. We were getting pretty good yields, cropping 3 plants per week at 1/4lb per plant. Super Lemon Haze, OG, and THC Bomb. I miss those Ladies :-)

If you are attempting to make gains exploiting phototropism or simply trying to get your lights to cover a larger area without needing to actually run all 4 all the time I would just get a light mover.

Yes, Yes, Yes (most likely anyways).

They aren't good setups. You can use gavitas fine on 8 or 8.5 ceilings, but not if your going to use tables which in general have to be off the ground quite a bit.

And forget about putting gavitas on light rails and tables without a friggin tall ceiling.

IMO with ceilings that low and trying to grow on tables, ditch the gavitas.
4x4 tables? or 4x8? I would throw 1x 1000 watt per 4x4 table.
