4 plants from seed experiment

Just thought i would post a close up frosty frosty pic of the DNA Sour Cream 6 weeks of 12/12 its an 11week strain.

J

I'm drooling over my ppp, mines 4 weeks in, and I sleep close to their room. The smells that waff to me at night are heavenly. Smells like candy.

Hey Folks,

Well i thought i would update this thread with some nice pics of everything here at my house. I am very close to harvesting some of the plants in the closet, maybe 1-2weeks away depending on progression from this point.

The pics are as follows

PIC1 and PIC2 are of the DNA SHARKSBREATH undergoing some LST to allow some young growth to get big enough to clone.

PIC3 is of the MAGUS GENETICS EXILE this plant still has not shown sex fully yet. I have found some PISTILS on 1 bract but nowhere else so this plant is being grown until sex is known as this was a reg seed.

PIC4 are 5 SHARKSBREATH clones that i am vegging for a week or two until green enough to give to a friend who has bought a 125w RED ECO CFL and we are gonna see what we can do yield wise under this light at his house.

PIC5 and PIC6 are 14 SHARKSBREATH clones in the propagator

PIC7 is the whole mother box and cloning area.

PIC8 and PIC9 are just some weird things that happened with the new camera (BONZI maybe you could shed some light as to what happened???)

PIC10 PIC11 and PIC12 of the original SOUR CREAM MOTHER

PIC13 BUD shot of the SOUR CREAM TOP

PIC14 PIC15 PIC16 and PIC17 PPP ORIGINAL MOTHER

PIC18 and PIC19 whole flowering Closet

PIC20 PIC21 PIC22 Low level FLower CLoset shots

PIC23 to PIC27 are the carbon filter setup in my closet.

The filter etc is not ideal yet bud needed to be added until this grow is over as previously i wasnt scrubbing my air but the sour cream stinks that much i have had to do it.

I must say that i am a little dissappointed with the PPP so far as today is 9weeks of flower which is the NIRVANA PPP flowering time but as you can see the PPP looks nowhere near ready so she will be going as long as she needs to. The sour cream on the other hand looks almost ready and i have counted 13 colas on this little beauty ranging in size from a childs fist to my fist.

Hope you all enjoy my little update.

Very Very health looking garden!

cheers B,

I'm aiming for a combined yield of around 300g from the closet which means 0.5g/watt but will have to weigh it all in bit by bit as everything is ready at different times ranging from 1-2weeks up to 4-5 weeks so we'll see.

J

The way the soil is going I would not be surprised to get .75/w +.

No telling on the DWC too early to tell.

We need to come up with some sort of yield ratio, like g/(cubic/watt), grams dry/(Volume/Watts), volume = distance from top of pot to bottom of light x width of room x depth of room. My goal 336g/(30x28x22)/400w = 7.27g/ciw

Don't know if this is valid but it would be nice as it could be used to compare grows strains lights etc.

My CFL test grow produced 84g/(18x14x18") /250w = 4.62g/ciw.

Try it and see if it is a valid measurement for compassion purposes. We could call this the "Bonzi" Formula.

I kind of follow your idea.

If i give you measurements of what you want you can do the rest lol.

The original Sour Cream Mother is coming down on FRI/SAT she has a mix of around 30-70 amber to milky so i have been just using Plain Water with molasses for the last week. End of week 2 of plain water/molasses is SAT.

Some pics following under here Check out all the cola's on the orginal sour cream mother lol that was a sheer genious moment to tie her down during the 2week stretch.

Hey everyone

Well yesterday i harvested the SOUR CREAM original mother.

Below are the harvest pics of everything i took from the plant.

In total i used 5 pieces of A4 paper full of bud as per pics below. Each pic is of a new batch trimmed up.

Enjoy.

Hey Everyone

Just thought i would add a few pics of life at my house.

Check out my new sized airpots. You can see from some of the pics the small 1 litres the larger 3 litres and the MASSIVE 15litre airpots in the closet.

Anyway i have now taken the 2 mothers from the Mother area transplanted into their final 15litre airpots and have had them in the flowering closet for the past week. As you can see from all the Yellow Garden String i have also been LSTing them, i am continuing the LST training during their stretching period to keep a low canopy as very soon all the near finished plants in my closet will be finished leaving the whole closet and 600w HPS all for the 2 mothers. This is going to be my final grow before i move the entire closet around. Quite literally as i have to change the door from one wall to the other. FUN!!!!

I hope you all enjoy the pics.

Oh by the way that 9 Week flowering NIRVANA PPP is still going!!! Thats now 12 weeks of flower. No amber trich's yet and not really much swell. Quite a bit of foxtailing but not much swell :-(

How big is that light again? I think you are pushing it's limits.

LOL

Its a 600w. I know im pushing it but my idea is that i wanted the mothers to begin flowering before the others had finished. The PPP's are coming down next saturday regardless as i cant wait for them any longer. Whatever i get from them i get yield isnt really important with the NIRVANA PPP as i wont be picking the strain again. So in 1 weeks time i will be 2x3ft plants out of the room and only then will i have the 2 big mothers and the 5 small clones. So lighting should be back to OK.

J

I never realized you had so much room. My DR 60 is fabulous, I'm thinking of redoing my HPS flower cab with one, would actually give me some more height.

I never realized you had so much room. My DR 60 is fabulous, I'm thinking of redoing my HPS flower cab with one, would actually give me some more height.

I have approx 1.2mx1m of floor space with around 2m of head room. SO im not doing bad for room. When i redesign i may even look at a light mover for the area as i actually have 1mx2mx2m of grow space if i mount the plants higher up in the room and have a drainage catch system on the floor.

But that could be a later edition anyway lol.

Im really liking these 15litre airpots im using at present.

You'll have to let me know if you change to a tent for the HPS area! I like the idea of a tent but with my closet its almost perfect so im happy.

I do plan on lining the walls with some diamond reflective film once i move around just to have a better spread from the light. Im not over convinced on the cooltube either yet. I may get a different air cooled hood for after the redesign.
