the girls are looking green, healthy and the stems are beefing up nicely. if i had proper wiring i would change over to the 1000 now but that's another week or 2 away.so far they've been getting nothing but tap water and love.

it got down to 27 degrees and we got a hard frost last night, the juvenile plants that are in the outside flower pot made it. i'm going to find a place to keep it warm at night.

i'll be able to update with pics tomorrow, maybe we'll see some responses to this thread then. i tried turning the 1000 on today, after an hour or so it started throwing the breaker. i knew it wouldn't be able to carry the load but it seemed like a crime not to try. so until i can come up with the coin to run a heavier wire i'll be running the 400. the girls are looking plenty healthy and getting bushy as well. they are starting to get a sweet aroma to them but at times you can't smell them at all.

i went by an old friends place today to check out his first cfl grow. he had it going on! there had to been 50 bulbs of various sizes in a 6' x 6' pantry lighting up 6 plants in 5 gallon buckets. they were about 2 weeks into the 12/12 light cycle and these little bag seed bitches were looking tough and starting to flower all pretty like. no updates on my stuff, all is looking and doing the same. i need to get another sac of miracle gro soil mix so i'll be ready to pop 4 more beans into the dirt on the 11th. i ought to post what i have for seeds and get the riu folks to help me pick 4.

I didn't realize I was running this low on seed variety so I picked out 1 TH Seeds S.A.G.E. reg seed, 1 Barneys Farm Honey B fem seed, 1 DNA Connie Chung fem seed, and 1 DNA Sour Cream fem seed. I just got the potting soil mix today and have it inside the house letting the temp rise to room temp. I found the best results for seed popping, the soil temp should be in the 70's to low 80's.
The 4 girls are looking outstanding and if plans work out they will have a 1000 mh lighting their world by this weekend. They got a good soaking today with straight tap water, the soil has all the goodies the plants need for now. I'll get some pics posted soon, these little girls are starting to look look monsters.

looking good brother i have a papaya that just broke ground this morn.
This is the first grow that I've done in a long time that hasn't had at least 1 papaya plant, you'll definitely enjoy it Robert. None of mine have sprouted yet but it's only been 3 days. Made a trip to Home Depot this morning and bought the wire and conduit so I can run the 1000 watter, I'll get it installed later today or next week some time. Once I do I'll change over to the 12/12 cycle.

Hey Robert, Remind me about the sweet taste of Papaya. About to make a seed order and I'm thinking hard about getting some more along with a few Northern Lights.

its always in the back of my mind , the last grow i did used up my seeds and it was a total fail for seed, i was fighting white flies , back to quality grows and getting that strain back into my collection is on my list as well , will be placing an order so i can have it this spring........also as far as my lights go , i was given three 400 watt HPS high bay lights , i will adapt to grow lights once i get the room

Well fuck me! The other night when we had the hard freeze I forgot to set the heater and the next morning I was left with a bunch of butter material. It was sickening but at least I had a few cuttings in a warm place. Looks like I might be making the seed order sooner than what I thought.
