It's pretty common for cannabis plants to have hollow stalks. It's more common in hydro than soil, but it isn't a bad thing. It's probably a result of low stress on the stem.

Thanks man. Yup I am a noob, and I love yanking my plants. As a matter of fact I yank all of them, all the time. I love to spend money on operating costs and NEVER harvest.
