Ross I haven't found any way to use the dry sift that fits my pallet.

I've tried smoking it in a pipe, decarbing it and making coffee, I don't smoke joints so I can't even sprinkle some in.

I'm going to give all the kief from this grow (probably 10 grams) to one of my nephews and his girlfriend. They've got a bong for shatter and I think the dry sift will work well with them.

I collect the kief with a dry sift tumbler.

Why not press it into wax

I haven't, but I do have a press. I'll do some reading on wax, thanks.

Is wax much nicer to smoke than kief?

I chopped my Lemon Haze tonight, good results.

The bud weighed in at 908 grams wet divided by 4.5 should be around 200 grams dry. Less than I was hoping for but it was a good harvest with lots of palm sized colas.

This strain didn't out weigh OG Kush that much but it took 2 x 12' trays to hold it.

Looking nice! I picked up some Lemon Haze from the dispensary the other day and it was nice. Very interesting terp profile, not like anything I'd really seen before.

And I'm gonna second Fibro, rosin is a _much_ nicer smoke than anything you'll get from kief alone. And pressing kief will get you some high quality rosin. Live Rosin is largely a marketing term, but they make that by processing fresh flower into bubble hash and pressing the resultant hash into rosin. It's crazy expensive at the store, because returns are so low, but it's pretty fire stuff.

If you're just sitting on a bunch of kief that's what I'd do with it... Or give it to your boy, Ross, and he'll press it :P

I harvested my Blue Dream tonight, 761 grams wet, divide by 4.5 and dry estimate 170 grams

My Lemon Haze cured to 62% humidity so I weighed and canned it.

I estimated 164 grams dry and came out with 175 grams, pretty close.

My only plant left in flower is my Slurracane, it has a lot of fox tailing and I think it'll take another two weeks to ripen.

My veg garden is overflowing so tomorrow I'm swapping tents, put the veg plants in the flower tent and the remaining Slurracane in the 3x3 veg tent with the lighting switched to 12/12.

Ross I've smoked it in a pipe, banged it on a quart nail, pressed it to a gooey blob, and made blender coffee.

I didn't enjoy any of those ways and this grow I'm going to give the sift to a nephew who's going back to post graduate school this year. He's always near broke and loves his bud so I"m putting together a package for him - all the sift I get, probably 8-10 grams, and 80 grams of assorted bud.

I detrellised my Slurracane and moved it into my 3x3 veg tent. It has a lot of white pistils and new bud growth so I'm expecting another 2 weeks of flower for her.

I'm putting off taking clones until week 3 of flower, so the new clones don't overgrow the flower tent. The 4 clones coming into the flower tent are already as tall as I want them, and they haven't stretched yet.

I've defoliated as usual, being extra careful to take off all the leaves I could. I'm hoping that I can control stretch somewhat by defoliating the plants a second time 10 days in then the third time before stretch is done.

Has anyone used defoliation to control height?

I usualy just defoil day 1 and 20 of flip like blackdog does.. u doit a 3rd time?

I've only defoliated twice per grow, I was thinking of putting in a third time to control height,

I think I'll just defoliate again on day 14, to slow any growth in the last week of stretch.

I've also got a dozen or two colas on each plant, spreading out the growth should help to keep my height down, I'm hoping for only 6" during stretch.

My Lemon Haze harvest dried down to 62% humidity, again I came out with a few more grams than I estimated.

213 grams for Lemon Haze and 175 grams for OG Kush - 388 grams for half the grow. I'm going to have to come out with 206+ grams for each Blue Dream and Slurracane to make my goal of 800 grams for the grow.

I've made a few mistakes this grow; wrong size trellis and poor support for the colas; only 1 up pot; didn't push my plants to the middle of the tent for best light usage. Probably a few more.

I'm having a bit of trouble with my new flower crop - it's too tall.

My last grow took longer than I had planned and hence the plants in flower had to veg longer.

I'm going to try a combination of ideas to keep stretch as low as possible, right now my Blue Dream is 28.5" from the light and 29" is the Black Dog recommended distance.

I've defoliated as I usually do on the first day of flower, now I think that I'll D again at 7 - 10 days in the hope that the plants use their energy to produce leaf instead of stem.

I'm also thinking of reducing the lights on time to 10 hours, to reduce the plants' overall metabolism.

Another idea is to put a scorg net over the grow.

I'm also researching super cropping, though I've never used it before.
