Just get a 600 watt hps/mh to mix with that led, your buds will have the best of both worlds.
Wasn't gonna consider it at first but it makes sense so I threw a 600w hps in the mix. Hopefully I can manage temps as there'll be a total of 3 lights in the tent, if not I'll consider dimming it down. Total light in the tent should be over 1000w now. Let's see what happens.

Runtz (zamnesia) in the top left, Gelato 41 (seedstockers) in the middle and bottom left and Gorilla Zkittlez (Barney's farm) on the right.

Gorilla Zkittles has been in veg for about 12 weeks I think.

I'll be combining led & hps for the flowering stage. This will be there first 12 hours of darkness.

Cleaned up a bit of the bottom and plucked a few leaves here and there. Been two weeks and a few days since I flipped to 12/12. Been running 1000w so hopefully that'll make a difference.

I agree. I've never kept up with my GPW but this run is hands down my best yet. I think I may have too much light for me to get to 1.0 this time haha. More veg and better planning next time might get me there

Quick question when the term grams per watt is used and a led light has 100 watts but its equivalent to a 300 watt cfl should you expect 300 grams then ?

Beginning the third week. Noticed the Gelatos were a lighter green a few weeks ago and wish I had increased the nitrogen for them. They seem like heavy feeders whereas the Gorilla Zkittlez and Runtz are light feeders. Things are getting a little more interesting.

Start of week 4. I feel like this grow is going better than the last, at least I hope so. Only thing different is that the humidity is low with lights on and I won't add a humidifier as I'm not using distilled water and the minerals clogged up the carbon filter sleeve previously.

I'm running 4 litres of water through 12 litre fabric pots every 2-3 days, anybody do it differently? Seems to be fine just looking for other experiences.

Finished my last grow successfully. I'm on to my next one now and have noticed spider mites on one plant only. The rest dont have any on them. I dont have the space to isolate the one infested plant. Should I just kill off the plant or carry on trying to fight the infestation? What would you do?

Just to follow up with a bit more information all plants are still in veg. 5 plants in total and only 1 has been affected. Again would you fight the mites or sacrifice the plant?

I threw mine out, I failed that battle, I was in flower when this happened to me if your in veg you might be able to raise the humidity really high and turn up some heat and leave lights on for 24 hours a day. Hopefully you got somewhere vapor sealed. I never tried this method but would like further input

If one has it then I can guarantee there is more your just not looking hard enough.
I thought so as well but the damage has been happening overtime on the infected one, I just didn't pick it up in time. Surely the same damage would have been happening on the other plants if they were infested. I don't dispute what you're saying as I've heard how hardy and tricky mites are and have begun treating those ones as if they have mites too. I'll see how the next few days go using neem oil and diatomaceous earth to fight them off.

If you had a little 4x2x5 tent you could stick a 250 watt mh in there and a humidifier and call it sick bay, just hook a exhaust fan to a cooling thermostat so it only clicks on when needed so it doesn't suck your humidity outside. Make sure you get the 250 bulb like the mh250/u from Phillips and dial down the ballast or use the corresponding LEDs. But the bulbs about 15USD 21 250 lumens

Do not under power your bulbs under any circumstances always match the bulb to setting, you selected. Over powering can have real bad effects too. A 400 watt running at 250 watts is not a 250 watt. Dont let anyone tell you different.

I'm running 2 LEDs my hps is switched off atm. The issue is that I'm not using distilled water so the hard water ends up clogging up the carbon filter sleeve which I have removed, so I've also been running without a humidifier. I'll throw the humidifier in there again and I could probably hook my exhaust fan to my inkbird humidity controller to keep humidity up since I'm not in flower.
